We are currently currently have NO opening/s for a Contributor spot with the texture Design Team.

We're looking for versatile, self-directed artists who have experience in creating textures / skins for Arma 3; focused on Altis Life (non-modded) servers,  and enjoy volunteering their time in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your application should, above all, demonstrate originality, an ability to iterate, and an understanding process of creating a texture from start to finish. It should also reflect a solid understanding of Arma 3 limitation, and contain examples that show your awareness and appreciation of Olympus.

 Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (6-8 people) to produce useful texture designs based on the group's collective conversations and assignments
• Reviewing assignments, creating concepts,  producing eye catching graphic assets, and submitting assignments to Seniors.
• Utilize team applications to manage texture design processes.

Requirements:

• Age is 16+ (I might make exceptions on a base to base cases)
• 1 or more years of Arma 3 related texture design experiences. (some teach, but we are not looking to train someone)
• Photoshop use and knowledge is highly preferred. If not, Gimp will work. 
• Arma 3 Tools, ImageToPAA, TexView 2, and PBO Manager
• A good understanding of texture design process and how to locate and obtain ingame texture assets (texture file locations; .paa, .pbo)
• Must have creativity and originality (Putting a camo over a vehicle texture is lazy sorry)
• Active on TeamSpeak.

• Make sure to submit actual texture of design in screenshots
• Use editor. Use Spectator not Splendid cam (backspace to hide UI)
• We don't care about graphics and textures for other game not related to Arma 3.
• In the type field of the application make sure to put your https://imgur.com/ links containing all the screenshots and texture/s
  • We don't want 15 links with one image each, we'd rather have 1 link with 15 images

All final applications start off at the rank of Contributor. After a month or so, they are eligible for promotion. This process has taken upto a month to complete due to the small team. We try to expedite the process as fast but precise as possible. There will be an interview process as well to go over exactly what we do and what we are responsible for on the Olympus TeamSpeak.
