Adaptive Crosshairs: Fill me In

Recommended Posts

I get the general jist of what adaptive crosshairs do, but I see a lot of people who are very vehemently against it.

I'm sure there's some nuances here that I don't understand, and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me why it's bad?   Some people are very for it, and I have a hard time going without it.

you can't quick peek with adaptive crosshairs. Instead of sitting in a static spot, they adjust to where the bullets are going to land depending on distance, etc. So when you're in a tower with adaptive crosshairs and want to quick peek, you have no way of accurately predicting where the bullets will go.
