Direct x error?  Reinstall your game with all profile information deleted.   If that doesnt work, check windows for direct x updates, and update your video card driver.  If it's current, do a fresh reinstall.

Cant update my drivers I tried doing the admin command thing but it said access denied. My pc is honestly on its last leg physically the side of it is open letting all the dirt and dust in and its on a carpet

In steam right click arma select local files and do verify integrity of local files. If that doesn’t help try clearing your cache and reinstalling. Also check for any driver updates like gpu and so on

If you can navigate to your profile and change it, do that, otherwise, see below.
"Interface size" is probably what you want

If that doesn't work, *backup* your profile folders and delete them (Or just the specific profile, up to you)

Location
"C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents"

Folders to backup/delete
"Arma 3" and "Arma 3 - Other Profiles"

This should fix the issue.
