The reality of the matter is it seems Aegis had nothing to do with this, nor his nonstop affiliation with them. It was just a completely uneven application of the rules, followed by a failure to communicate or explain said uneven application of the rules. Some people get titan engaged, fly across the map and combat store. When that happens, staff have been known to pull logs to verify they combat stored, and given it the plaintiff due to the combat store. This situation was far more direct, and yet this little asshole was given a free pass out of a ban followed by allowing him to keep it.. followed by an admin openly celebrating the dude keeping his ghawk he broke rules and got to keep.
He didn't even get harsh words. He got a 20 min ban. No lesson was learned, and the person that should have gotten it was absolutely fucked over. And once again, no communication was offered on the matter.. it was a final decision that wouldn't be discussed, despite 100's of illegal vehicles being passed in far less combative situations without a second thought.
This is why rules shouldn't be gray and open to personal interpretation like this. Someone's always going to get fucked over by having to predict the eratic decisions of staff members who won't even bother to answer questions on the matter to prevent it from happening in the future. Guess-work is not a system of rules. Guess-work is not a way to apply penalty for breaking rules. Some things were meant to be black and white.
