  1. Nah nah. Out attitude is fuck anything that 5% of the server cares about, i.e. bombs, and house fires are about the same thing. They provide nothing at all to the server and are a waste of resources and stop people from using houses. Let's get rid of house fires. Should be to up civs since medics fucking over civs that use bombs.
  2. While we're at it let's get rid of the useless shit that nobody cares about like taxis and firefighting.
  3. If you think runing titans while I'm in first place is scary to me you don't understand my motivations. Triple the Titan cost.
  4. You guys did everything in your power to prevent a good and honest discourse on the matter. You cannot flex the love of a good debate after that. I asked to just be able to make a statement to ya'll in teamspeak, because you know godamned well most of the people who voted just tune out after a single paragraph of writing. @ Marcus blocked that. You did everything you could to prevent that vote to be an honest process. When someone wants to move a chickenwire fence on a conquest map they hold a whole session and get as many opinions as they can, and pull devs in and as many conquest players as humanly possible. When someone wants to inititate a drastic rule change on s1, Grandma Gary says "idfc let the career medics do it.'
  5. Any vote that is unanimous is extremely sus. It means there was forces at work preventing it from being an honest poll. Try getting a unanimous vote out of CC about anything and watch what happens. People voted how they were 'supposed to' and I wasn't given a chance to actually discuss it. Ya'll kept it behind closed doors and sealed off.
  6. Because all the people who use bombs know the rules. You improperly doing a ticket isn't the news flash you think it is.
  7. Never has been. Has never been a single ticket in the history of the server where blowing up or planting bombs has been considered engagement unless it his a player or vehicle. I agree with the principle of the matter. I once comped someone a million because I assumed it was and was told by staff it never is under any circumstances. But when you actually play the game enough that you understand how things work, you understand that it's not practical do to so. You got some staff that have no idea what they're doing or how anything works, dramatically changing the rules in the completely wrong way. If they were going to change it it should have been handled properly, discussed with roundtable, ect just to bail your boy out. What are you going to do if you pull up on me and I'm standing next to a bomb next to your shed? You going to kill me? What are you going to do when it turns out that bomb isn't mine and your boy or you gets banned for it? I honestly 100% agree, if it were really that simple, planting bombs should be engagement. But that's like a child saying 'we should never go to war ever' about their country. It's an idealistic and extremely naïve take by someone with no understanding or experience of how thing actually work. There are so many holes and flaws in that system that it's just not practical. Staff just refused to listen because being right is more important than logic, and because @ Marcus is confused as to why so many people want to blow stuff up in his firetruck simulator.
  8. We keep letting sr. r&r handle major decisions with engagement rules pretty soon driving too fast is going to be engagement. Why would you tbh. You've been handed a ticket to legally rdm.
  9. If i never could have won, why they finagle this situation into a one way engagement? Seems like coward tactics to me. Afraid to war, and suck staff off to change the server rules for em. I think at the end of the day AOS is upset that they're my side project and not my main bitches like NBB.
  10. You can always list it on ah
  11. Your promotions as staff are not dependent on how much work you put in, or how much time you spending learning precedents, and making fair judgements. It's just a popularity contest based on who you're friends with crossed with how loud you clap and cheer whenever someone with higher seniority makes a decision. And then they hold 'votes' on their decision, and if you don't agree with what the person holding vote says is his opinion, then you'll be a moderator for an inordinate amount of time if you make it that far. I'm a thinker, not a ticket bot. CC is where I belong, and not even with rank... because nobody is going to inform me of what my opinion is.
  12. Still going down that road to a certain point. The moment I could, the game wouldn't be fun anymore as anything other than being staff... and that would never hold my interest as much as skat/civ.
  13. Was 8 months ago at a time I wasn't even active in game bud. The actual application that I knew they wouldn't even take. Was just a long shot out of boredom. What is your Age? 39 How well do you work with a team? Quite well Can you work well under pressure? Very much so. I thrive under pressure. How would you describe yourself? Stern but Jovial. A joker with limits. How are your people skills? Good when I want to be. How would others describe you? A leader. What are your strengths? Unbias. Not afraid to challenge my own friends as equally as rivals. What are your weaknesses? Used to have a lot.. tbh I've worked through most of them over my years. I address them as I become aware of them. How are you at handling multiple tasks at one time? Efficient and organized. How would you react if a decision was over-ruled by a higher rank? Communicate and figure out why it happened. Defend with precedent if I feel I'm correct, learn if I'm wrong. Anything else you would like to add? I know not a chance in a million years you guys are going to accept this. I'm not support staff, but I'm the one that half the support team comes to in the middle of the night with questions. Chances are I've got a better grasp of the rules than most mods and lower admins being the level I no lifed this on s1 for 7k hours. That being said, it would be worth coming back for as a new challenge as I have no property left to ruin the fun of the game by getting mod perms. I work very well with new players. Promoted the server. Made tons of content. I already know the answer, but it's your loss..I assure you
  14. Nah its facts. Soon as I could spawn stuff in I'd lose all interest in the server.
  15. I was just looking for a way to make the game interesting again. I don't even want staff. No cap, if they offered it to me out of nowhere I would 100% turn it down forever. Being staff is basically being a mindless ticket puncher. They want people who agree, barely play, barely know any thing about the game or the mechanics or the rules who don't have opinions of their own. I'm a CC at heart. I will always state my opinion, and never suck weewee for promotions. The fact that you see unanimous votes happening as often as they do is indicative that their voting system is based on politics and sucking up. If they handled their voting with true anonymity you'd see a lot more... disagreement.
  16. Ultimately, not a single fucking person on this server, myself included, is going to actually believe in any way shape or form that there was any chance at all in even the most insane of circumstances that staff held a unanimous vote to make me staff. I got 2 +1's tops, possibly 0.
  17. I would have been crying through the whole ceremony. It would have been beautiful. Everything's a minor issue when you have infinite money. Or I guess when you're in 88 or VX.
  18. Listen to me very closely @ Grandma Gary . There will be justice, or there will be memes.
  19. You defy all logic then. You know I'm right.
  20. This should be reviewed again. People have begun changing their minds.
  21. Bicycle helmets should be a mandatory part of their loadout.
  22. This. This is the ultimate point. And if any of those players, that own that house, that have keys or don't have keys to that house, they are going to say they do. Sometimes they will be telling the truth. Sometimes they will lie. And I shouldn't have to file 5 fucking player reports to bust the 1 liar at absolute best possible credit to the player bases honesty level, because I have no other way of figuring out the truth. That's asinine.
  23. And to top it all off, you are required to dispute the player and tell on yourself for the report giving them an actual chance to gain ownership of the house in the meantime. Staff aren't log checking on this regularly and we know it. It's a license to rdm, and if the staff actually check on 'in game' tickets that sit there forever instead of logchecking the time and date of the ticket, they get a one day ban so far down the line the can just claim there was initiation without it being expected to be held up on their end of things due to the time between the ticket being placed and processed. You're creating an entirely unnecessary bureaucratic process that is prone to doubt, wastes a ton of people's time for no reason other than to police something by creating so much unnecessary work that you hope a bunch of people just stop doing it. The bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy. You've created the DMV. Congratulations.
  24. Woah now you did good. The only thing the lil homie does wrong is protecting big john lol. Let's scheme to turn your iron slaves into an upvote farm.
