I feel it is necessary to share my recent experience with the Olympus Arma 3 Life staff regarding how they handle bans and appeals. After dedicating countless hours to the Olympus server and being a loyal member of this community, I was unexpectedly banned with the reason listed as "scripting." This accusation is baseless, as I have always played the game legitimately. Following my ban, I submitted seven separate ban appeals, all of which were either ignored or dismissed without any evidence being presented to me. Despite requesting details from the banning admin and even escalating the matter to the head admin, I received no response, no evidence, and no clarification. This lack of communication and transparency is extremely disappointing and shows a complete disregard for the time and effort many of us put into this server. To make matters worse, when I opened a ticket on their Discord to discuss this issue seriously, the response I received from some of the staff was completely unprofessional. Instead of addressing the matter with respect, they spammed me with GIFs and memes in the ticket channel. Not only did this make light of the situation, but it also added insult to injury and made me feel disrespected as a community member. For those of you who invest your time in Olympus, I want to make you aware of how their administration team has treated someone who only wanted a fair chance to defend themselves. This is no way to handle ban appeals or interact with the players who make this server what it is. I urge the staff to reflect on how they manage their community and encourage transparency, respect, and professionalism in all interactions. A gaming community thrives on mutual respect between players and staff, something that is currently lacking in this situation. I sincerely hope this post serves as a wake up call for change.
