Solution : Enforce true probably cause , and make it against the rules for cops to break the dimensional barrier between the game and real life. Cops should play the game as if it where real life and not just saying its a game and we dont rp in this server..

I don't even think cops should be able to see the wanted list unless somebody's bounty is over a million or something because it just ruins the roleplay aspect and cops already know who you are and your bounty before they even check licenses

i hate to break it to you but the only "Roleplay" aspect of the server is rules to keep it from being a sandbox deathmatch.

Just keep in mind these guys complain about having to respond to a fed and that they "want to roleplay". However, at the same time they don't want to roleplay and this "isn't a roleplay server". I think maybe they just want to make free money from new players?

We cannot stop players without articulable probable cause, this is why they'll give you the runaround of checking your tags, off-roading, etc even if on a more hardcore server there would be reasonable suspicion for a stop.

On the level of processing, I think it's a two way street ; if you start screaming about RP, rules and being toxic the moment you get cuffed, you will receive a full ticket and be processed as fast as possible, if you try to be respectful and give justifications you will walk away with your gear and a reduction 70% of the time.

If you "break the barrier" by invoking RP and server rules why should the APD not be able to meet you down at your level?

As for the cop saying this isn't an RP server, I think I may have been there or maybe it was a similar situation ; he said "this isn't a hard RP server" exactly because the guy was freaking the fuck out about being arrested and throwing a tantrum saying the APD were breaking NLR.

No-shit you're going to get robocopped if you're toxic, the APD only have an obligation to tell you what is happening and give you two tickets, not be your punching bags or give you a chance to negotiate your bounty when you're being openly hostile.

 

That 30% where you don’t get it for me is when you have one toxic guy in your group and I’m sitting there being chill with the cop and having fun well away from the other situation of a group member arguing and I’ll get stripped of my gear and sent to jail over a 90k bounty. If that got fixed or addressed I’d look at APD in a better light but just taking the frustration out on everyone because of one guy is annoying. The processing is 1 person at a time so I mean it should be worth something if you’re being cool with the cops and having a good laugh with each other and then have a higher rank run in and say fuck you and ruin the entire interaction you had away from everyone else.

Cops used to have to be like this but they just kept letting so many conquest players on and they ruined it.
