Chapter XII - Federal Events

Active Federal Events

• APD Officer(s) can be instructed by an active Staff Sergeant (FTO)/SAPD/Retired Chief not to respond to an active Federal Event and may instead conduct other APD duties.
  • Exception: If no FTO+ is online, Corporals involved in the situation may jointly assess if too many cops are responding and direct select APD officers to leave and conduct other APD duties.

 

This is intended for situations where the APD significantly outnumbers/overpowers the civilian group attempting a Federal Event. It is not meant to be used when officers simply do not wish to continue fighting. Any misuse of this update may result in it being removed and/or disciplinary action.
