  1. My broke ass needs an actual good computer. Been playing with y’all with about 10-24 frames max.

Lol so on top of slow reaction timing from my weed I also just have a shit computer. Anyone want to help me build something that works well and is cheaper? Need assistance.

Yeah. The new AMD chips are absolute monsters and Intel can't compete with them at all in either price or performance, so team Red takes the win for now. I would recommend a solid card from Nvidias new series, and even would advocate for you to save up a few hundred dollars more and buy a really good card

AMD for life, the Shintel fanboys will get all pissy.

Source: running a 3900X right now. The 3rd gen ryzen chips really solved a bunch of the memory issues, and a die shrink got 'em running at nice power/thermals. They're pretty king. This was my first AMD build, and 0 regrets so far.

Graphics cards are a different story. Unless you have a specific reason, you'll just have less issues with nvidia likely. I needed open source drivers for linux to support the shared buffer protocols used by wayland compositors, and nvidia won't pull their heads out of their ass about their special EGLStreams API yet, so their cards are off the table for me there, leaving me with no choice but to snag a 5700XT, and hope a water block can tame it.

EDIT: also half of the radeon employee's have jumped ship for intel's GPU division so I'm interested to see where that goes.

Little does he know he’s getting 60 frames, just so high all the time everything is moving in slow motion.
