It's basically every day, just check your ticket to see if you were accepted and then chill out in the apd whitelisted channel.

thats basically what I did but everyone was telling me to get out

The only reason you'd be told to hop out of that channel is if your application was not accepted yet, therefore you aren't waiting for an interview.
