Toshiba Trion 150 OCZ, I run a 480gb one of these and the speeds are definitely up there with 520 read and write. Unfortunately, SATA 3 is capped at 600mbs so that's about as fast as you'll get unless you have an M.2 slot in which case I'd recommend a Samsung 960 Evo (assuming you want to fully convert later). However, since you are just slapping Arma on it, a Kingston A400 would be well suited for ya for $28 lol. As for moving install folders, steam has made this quite painless, go to your properties and click move install folder.

Sorry for the late response. Thank you so much!

  2. Can anyone recommend me a SSD just so I can use it for Arma! What I've been reading it will help out a lot with my average 20-30 fps...

Also on this topic can someone link me a video of how to even put Arma on one... I have no idea what I am doing.

Actually, there are a few launch options you can try using as well that could help (albeit marginally) ... I'm at work now and teaching tonight, so if your on TS around 11:30ish EST DM me and ill send them over... at a minimum your should run '-NoPause' (no quote) as it will help keep arma from crashing when you tab out / back in.... others i have enable hyper threading, allocates max ram/vram, cores, kills the startup vid and other bs to launch faster, etc... may only get you a few fps, but worth a shot..

Okay man thanks dude yeah I’ll try and hop on and take some notes down!!

    THIS

Arma is one of those weird games that if you have a shit CPU, raising some settings will actually improve frames... there is no 'magic formula' you kinda just need to play around until you get better stable frames...also if your going to upgrade soon, you may as well try OC your CPU, theres plenty software out there that'll help with the testing...

I think it is! When it was build I asked them to but i’m not the best in the area!
