Ukraine's army is hiding in the cities. Says it all. They don't dare push out of the urban centers and engage Russia, let alone try regain lost territory. They are using civilians as human shields, it is undeniable at this point. They should simply negotiate.

I am calling it a minor quibble, and you are saying I am crying. Alrighty. My larger concern is with sanctioned cheating, and perma-bans being reversed too quickly (practically instantly) for people that are well-connected. I was told to give one example, I gave three, and yeah, here we are. I don't blame admins, mods or staff, they are saying what they have to say, given the state of the server. This is not something that is likely to be addressed, is it? Everyone wants to have fun during the server's last days.

This was the gang I had beef with. They didn't have the balls to end war, so they came up with a work-around, that IMO should never have been allowed. IDK why that is so hard to understand, that the server shouldn't allow the same gang to split into two, use the same tags, and have different wars active. It is a continuation of the 'initiating a group' clusterf*ck, where if people from different gangs were grouping up as a player you were somehow supposed to pretend they were working independently and engage three different players/groups, in the middle of a firefight. Compared to letting some people get away with cheating, though, it is a fairly minor quibble.

My rule was: if they are N, shoot. If they are N, war, or request war. I followed my rules in that regard. Womp womp. There are DB members working with -s-, and between them, one or the other is scripting or using server tools.

If your gang is at war with someone, then you form a splinter gang, still using the same tag, shouldn't those wars carry over? Other wise gang members can just cross over at their choosing. "Hmm, do I want to be at war with people today, or not?" Or have the non-war members drive your cars/fly your helis, then when you get titaned you can complain "come to support", or they have to initiate and you have countermeasures ready. How is it NOT BS?

I stopped recording every minute I played on Olympus months ago. Who cares if I can 'provide evidence'? Fact is, the other times I have seen 'strange shit' like this, it has all been due to scripting. If people are using scripting or server tools or software cheats, what difference does it make to me? These are people that have bans overturned, perms, and they can just say "that wasn't the real ____ that got banned", and then they are back, within a day. Or they can deny using cheats, or they can say "your claims just seem baseless at this point". It doesn't matter, I am not trying to get any one banned, or save the server. Just telling those who know what they are doing, what the net result of their actions is. But if I shoot the guy with the tag, who is 'not in the gang' (although he has been in that gang forever) first, then it is 'RDM'. BS.

No, I reported the exploit, and I am not currently banned. Got a 5 day recently for killing a guy ("RDM") from a gang I have been at war with for over 5 months though. Because THEY are using an exploit (2 gangs, one tag). The post is about that but also about sanctioned cheating, the expanded use of "server tools", scripting, and people don't get banned for it any more because they are "chosen", friends with the right people, or in the right gang.

Congrats on slowly killing the server. Did I mention 'come to support' bros? They deserve an honorable mention. And yes, there has been cheating for months if not years. But sanctioned cheating is what goes on now. You know who you are. I mean, I found an exploit whereby I could steal from neighboring houses. Did I rob everything on the damn island or did I keep my mouth shut and refrain from using it?

They just want to shoot you. If they text you 'Hands up or die' it cannot be judged RDM. It is about following the letter of the law, not RP.

If getting the pop up requires reversing permabans for scripting/hacking/doxing, then I say we let the pop drop. Bans due to slow internet, high ping, or alleged 'lag-switching' can be looked at, on a case by case basis of course. Honestly, I prefer the server when there are about 70 people on. With 100-110, you have to worry about every rebel, every dealer and processing site, being camped. So it is good for finding some action, but not for a variety of gameplay/rp.

Maybe let some items fluctuate a bit more? Like if no glass has been sold all day (or say for 3 hrs) then the price of glass gets another 10-15% boost? I would like there to be a safe way for me to buy goods from other players too, without the risk of them shooting me after I transfer them the money, or vice versa, them worrying I will shoot them after they transfer me the goods. So basically, I should be able to say "I am buying processed meth for $9250" when the price has cratered to something like $8000, and with an escrow I should be able to have that meth moved to my house/shed and the money transferred out of my account, without meeting in person with the guy selling. Because right now prices fluctuate based on supply, but not demand, according to my understanding. I like the idea of being able to buy say 5% of the company that processes diamonds, but it seems like it would be difficult to implement, compared to the above.

Using the spawn exploit where it tells you when someone is close to your house. I know. A guy going by Trump24 used to do this all the time on S1. Oh wait, if you say it on the server, is it still meta?

Nah, you just go behind the processing shack (staying within 10m), and you will see the guy approaching from this house every time.
