Yes, because the nature of events require you to be in/around the vehicle to transport loot and have a predictable, fixed location/path. It is realistically near impossible to prevent if someone has the desire to blow it up. Such as Sov camping 200% with an explosive charge planted at the dropoff point sitting in the water. Or Mako standing on top of Telos dome lobbing RPGs inside the main dome after timer blows. What is the expectation- that every time you do pharma you bring an SDAR and wetsuit, clear a 600m radius of water plus all the land around the dropoffs before driving up while fighting cops and other roaches after having already spent 15 minutes driving/fighting? Or to control fed + every pixel of angles in a 1km radius around fed and prevent anyone from interacting with the dome door? It's simply not healthy gameplay.

Currently not mathematically worth buying. Anyone who has enough money for advanced rebel licenses isnt doing runs, and anyone who does do the runs and has enough money for the licenses would take an ridiculous amount of time to break even. If the goal of the change is to get more people to do runs, the current math doesnt incentivize it enough to make a difference. Current Meth: $7.5mil for a 10% speed buff. And another $7.5mil for a flat ~2 minute faster bonus. ($15mil total) Suggested Meth: Combine the two variants of Adv licenses with both effects. Cost 1.5x the current price of 1 respective license (ex: $11mil for Meth). Restrict ppl only to own one Adv/Pro combo license at a time (ex: If own Meth Adv Pro, cannot own Frog Adv Pro). Buff to 20% speed bonus.

Make it similar rule to VDM- you can blow up vehicles at a fed at your own risk, but if you blow up a vic that has gear/gold/money bags/pharma in it, you're liable for comp. 1. Destroying event vehicles is too easy for how big of an impact it has, due to the predictable structure and nature of events. The only purpose of the rules regarding RVD is to prevent excessive griefing- otherwise RVD would not be against the rules. 1. This kind of change follows that precedent. 2. There's really no reasonable reason to allow events to be RVD'd/griefed and skirting the rule by saying "people were near it" because you are required to be near/in the vehicle per the event.

The primary objective for civs at a fed event at a Server perspective is to gain loot in self-interest. That is the intended gameplay mechanic. Denying other people from getting loot is intended to be a secondary objective. Crab mentality is not the purpose of the game or nothing would ever happen. Never suggested banning people who have done it in the past Admins are our congress people who are supposed to write/enforce rules in the best interest of the community and server. It's a game. Rules are intended to keep the game fun and fair. Rules are not written in stone. The rules should be modified if the majority of people can agree what is fair and fun within the confines of the Life RP archetype.

In that context yeah explosives are OP for defenders. It's not reasonable to expect attackers to push into a red zone mine field in the limitations of a life server. In the context of a federal event, they're OP for attackers. It's not reasonable to expect defenders to fight 10-20 cops AND search/kill every single civ in Telos, prevent civs from spawning at their Telos houses, prevent them from being revived, + cover a 1km radius, + dodge rockets on the way to gold trader in a vic that moves 70km/hr, all to prevent the potential that one guy can destroy the whole event in one easy click from a bush, window, frit drop, or impenetrable tower. It's not reasonable, it's not fun, and people will simply stop doing feds. If that's what admins want, then keep it as is. Just wanted to inform staff of the sentiment of non-aegis-affiliated players in regards to fed and open a public discussion about it.

Just rechecked rules and yeah I suppose pharma was not included with the escort, my mistake. That logic for protecting APD escort bc of the cost but not other events is kinda mid because all events have a price tag to start called their kits and vehicles. Civs can easily lose just as much money in trucks at a fed as APD can with an escort. While I was reviewing the rules, I found another prohibited use of explosives: "Players may not utilize RPGs, Mines and Explosive charges/IEDS at the Gangbase Skirmish". Curious that the one gang that perma holds gang base is protected from explosives when they stand to lose their ghawk spawn pad. I'm sure they'd complain about it being unfair. ps. I didn't compare Aegis to Southern Shiners. These are simply the stats. Not a single BW item/vic is being sold by Teamplayers, Dankpods, 88, Tilde, or any other comparable-hours gang. The source of the RPGs is a meme and besides the main point; ultimately, the people who are RPGing feds have relatively unlimited resources and risk practically nothing by bringing an RPG to fed. Meanwhile, other people who are doing the feds with far less resources lose everything with very little effort and reasonable counterplay. As what Blackout pointed out, blowing up an event (Pharma, Escorts) is already prohibited for the exact same reason I'm describing. It's just griefing. I do not care if someone roaches and tries to win a firefight and possibly steal the loot for themselves, that is fair and in good sport of the game, but blowing everything up is straight retarded.
