Hey Whiskey, it's Tuco. I was a member of MA before you left. Anyway, I just recently finished building my desktop. I was playing on an Alienware Alpha, with a i5 4690K, and a GTX 860M equivalent graphical chip. Arma 3 was just barely playable on this monstrosity. Anyway, my new build has an MSI-B85-G43 Gaming mobo. 8Gb of Corsair Vengeance RAM - 1600 Mgz. EVGA GTX 970 graphics card, with the same CPU as before. Arma 3 now runs like butter on Olympus servers maxed out. But I may need more RAM, because Arma 3 has a huge amount of pixels, and in-game entities that need to be loaded. So building a pc would be your best bet. my setup only cost 1400 US. Which some laptops run that high in price.
