Locked Ban Appeal

So, me and a few of my gang members were taken hostage at Rebel Outpost, and they put us in a car. When I was in the car there was an "eject" button, so I clicked it thinking it would just put me out of the car, but when I did click it, it killed me, and the person who took me hostage asked for a "Comp" or be banned, I didn't have the money, and I didn't even know what I did wrong, when I tried to log back into the server it said I was banned for "Combat Log" I still don't know what I did wrong, and is that considered "Combat Log"?
