I find it weird Medic's can fight for the APD ESCORT

Cops and Medics are suppose to hold a value to their life, my point being I was just trying to participate in an Escort which is a blue zone, and the medics in the rule book are allowed to be assisted into the blue zone by the APD but why?

I just see where the APD gets to protect them and maybe pick up whom is requesting for arrest, but riding in a car with the APD but also on the same side as the APD while and event is going on while having a chance to dying as well seems odd because they are suppose to keep a value on their life.

My second point being I can see where they can start to help the APD in the blue zone after being released by an APD member and not a hostage but riding in a quilin and reviving APD members as the event goes on seems odd does it not to you guys. 

I just think that APD can save them from being a hostage but not bring them into the event and use them as a weapon. I got VDM by accident from behind and three APD got killed then I didnt get revived and they took two of 5 Medics with them for the rest of the escort while the Medics had their own car.

We are required to assist APD upon request, and only revive them/repair APD vics when assisting them. Which can include riding in Quilins and reviving any officer that goes down, repairing the escort vic when the engine gets shot out etc.

Both handbooks make it pretty clear cut.

Everytime I do an escort I always carry around a medic in the truck they have like 15% repair increase speed so anytime the engine is shot out they repair it in like 5secs and we’re back in the fight. Medics are pretty useful in the escort you can usually kill the medic pretty easy if they’re in the truck most of the time that’s what ends up happening

and being able to be revived rather than playing catch up with the escort is a decent advantage. Civs are able to take medics and use them to their advantage for a pharmaceutical escort or federal event.
