    Thinking about buying the gtx 970, anyone have it? opinions on the 3.5 vram instead of 4?

      Thanks for all of the comments. I have narrowed it down to the 290x and the 970. 970 uses half the power consumtion, but I have a 750psu so thats not a deal breaker. My current cpu setup with my r9 270 gets 60-90 fps in arma 3 and gta v.

      I have a 970, I love it. Just make sure to not get the reference cooler

      If the price difference is right just save the cash and get the 290x.
