  1. Gonna say it once and leave it at that. Everyone knows exactly what the fuck the problem is. The chief doesn't want to play with people at all. The chief of police, the man people are supposed to associate with the role of being their leader, won't so much as say a single word to anyone below deputy chief. Everyone under him constantly makes excuses for the behavior because anyone saying anything slightly negative could destroy their APD careers. The only currently active high ranking cop that spends any time at all actually playing with the lower ranks is Rexo. Winters and Mako just ego everything and everyone. When mako gets on it's full clique. Separate channels or log out if people not from his little group start playing cop. Winters will straight up play 6 hours solo without spending 1 minute in vc. Doesn't even stop to say hi. Everyone under him just constantly 24/7 makes excuses for that behavior. He's a leader. He doesn't get to do that. Fact of the matter is, and I'm not even memeing here, Caloom Clark does more to lead apd and play with the lower ranks as an FTO in any given random day than winters has the entire 3 months I was on APD. APD is basically like one of those dead gangs where ex members keep trying to bring it back, the old leadership won't pass r5 on, and is more content to watch it die a slow painful death repeatedly than take responsibility for it. Winters is probably an alright dude. I have nothing against him personally... but he's literally doing the worst possible job anyone in that position could possibly do.
  2. If it's supposed to be disguising how many players are in a vehicle, it has to go beyond funtionality and actually have physical tinting.
  3. I don't want to call him a hero. He's very humble, he hates that. Martyr.
  4. I hate when that always happens.
  5. That's fucked up that APD shot your engine out and made this happen.
  6. It's more than just that with offensive defensive. If you're chasing someone, you have more control over collisions than the other could ever. A person being chased shouldn't ever have to worry about stopping too fast or turning too quick. They're being chased. The entire responsibility for vdm when one party is choosing to follow close is the pursuing party. They should be setting up to take a shot but instead they choose to drive close for no reason I can possibly think of other than to collide. The speed difference between those vehicles is an easy setup to pass and shoot the front window...so why instead choose to not only stay in the vehicle but drive so close even the slightest desync could cause issues? Every box was checked to create this accident to the degree that responsibility should fall on the persuer. I've seen people held responsible for their own desync because they were driving too close...and if that's happened, this is several degrees closer to responsibility for the same reasons. I disagree with your call because though I feel your heart was in the right place, it sets up precedent to fuck over victims of stuff like this in the future. At the very least if it's being handled like this in the future, no fault should always result in comp and not just because staff is in a good mood.
  7. Rules like vdm in situations like this should be applied in a way more lenient to the defender than the attacker. The attackers have time to plan and prepare. The defenders do not. Defenders are more likely to panic. They clearly had 100% control of this situation, and clearly could have won it if they let it play out naturally, but instead they chose to be wreckless and try to force the man to vdm. A ruling like this also encourages future robbers to not use the slightest amount of caution when driving close to other players and they'll just say some bullshit like 'no fault' after destroying new player vehicle after new player vehicle. @ -Shawn- Fail call. If you choose to rob you take on the risk. Plan better... no charities to the failures. If you can't afford to pay for a vdm, don't drive that close to someone. Simple as that.
  8. Yeah honestly... The people doing the robbing should be held to the higher standard. They chose the situation and have control over it. This type of shit is what fucks new players over, and encourages circle jerking of twats who go around robbing new players. They had no reason to be anywhere near him if they weren't attempting to hit him. Pit maneuvers are done 'at your own risk' because it's your choice to try it, just like driving too close to people is 'at your own risk.' People robbing usually have the money to cover comp. People getting robbed more often do not. Bad call. At the very least, they should have been forced to comp him if avoiding a ban was the mindset. "No fault" is not a fair and balanced take. "No fault" just means 'fuck you' to whichever party has the least amount of money.
  9. If you had 50k to just throw at buying a game server, you wouldn't let your face look like that.
  10. Tay tay all day.. why are we even discussing this?
  11. If they're the same doctors that gave you the chicken legs transplant, they're up to the challenge.
  12. Is this the same ghost that got so mad he left his gangs discord and refuses to play with them cause he got beat by me in a world of Warcraft duel?
  13. I'm done asking people to get Sov related tats. All those people who got the mandatory CTF tattoos were quite distraught when I disbanded CTF.
  14. Someone musta found a new betting exploit.
  15. My tattoo artist takes food stamps.
  16. Honestly it's kind of a bad take by Dante. Problem it creates is someone who's outside of the redzone, waiting to shoot until it's legal, can just get killed before they get a chance at a legal kill. Shit should be black and white.
  17. Though I'm of the firm belief that evidence shouldn't be taken into account when applying blame to mako for things.
  18. The senior dev who made such a claim later said it wasn't true, and he was just drunk and angry apparently
  19. Wasn't there a news story about alleged slavery in your company? Heard you take peoples passports and make them either mine iron or work the corners in kav.
  20. I'm 99% sure you were an admin a lot longer than that.
  21. Upon further discussion though, I think grandma gary took all the white people flesh colored ones.
  22. Long story short, community manager @ Mako fail rp'ed me, and I've receive a fair ruling. If we pull bias and issues into the public light, miracles and fair rulings should also be brought into the public light. He tried to argue he didn't break a rule but he did, and the Honorable @ Grandma Gary found it a prudent action to decide on justice.
  23. @ Farrel did you really come back 8 hours later to change your react to something negative? All those conversations we've had till 7 in the morning taught you nothing about manners or courtesy apparently.
  24. Thank you for being nice to your little brother.
  25. The people that own that house have private security and cameras setup constantly to stop people from throwing pizzas on their roof.
