All I'm saying is that the reason you gave doesn't make a lot of sense, as there are plenty of ways for players to gain an advantage (including outside vanilla). I won't lose a minute of sleep over it, but I also don't really understand it.

Not sure I would count NVG as the same advantage, but sure. What about changing FOV through .cfg?

How is that different from the Y-menu setting allowing you to turn up night brightness? Surely that's an unfair advantage as well then. People are free to install the mod, so I don't see how it's an unfair advantage.
