Comp is where you give someone money for something that they lost that was entirely your fault. ex: You purposely try to pit maneuver a box truck and it blows. And you comp the person the money that they lost

no i know that im saying if i submit a compensation request and it goes through how do they give me my money

In terms of comp from server admins if it's money that you need they can just add it your account but if it's a physical item ex: CSAT or a virtual inventory item ex: 100 meth then you need to sit in the compensation center in the TS and wait for an admin to give you the item while in the server.
