Is the turbo upgrade worth it?

I've upgraded a couple of vehicles with turbo, namely a SDV (Waste of money) and a Go-Kart (Totally justifiable) but I really fail to see the point of it. The upgrade claims to increase acceleration and top speed but in practice I find it really lackluster. Should I chuck in some cash to buy it on some of my cars or just leave it stock?

Does not increase top speed, only acceleration. SDV I wouldn't suggest putting any turbo on as sometimes when left stationary can sometimes just float to surface, tier 0 doesn't do that. 

Sports hatch, quillen and ifrit are prob the best ones to have upgraded

I've been bamboozled out of 10k. Acceleration is still decent I suppose.

upgrade all large trucks you have, anything that you dont want to lose.

Yea I agree with you on the sdv upgrade. No point whatsoever makes it just float up.
