Incorrect young Jorbis. In order to upgrade the virtual inventory go inside your house and press your windows key. There will be an option called "upgrade storage" if you click that it will tell you how much it will cost you to upgrade the storage.

 

If you want to have physical items however you must purchase storage crates from market.
