Seems pointless without changing the war point shop or converting everyone's war points to money.

What is the argument for removing them? Why keep them? What is both sides…

Because personally i’ve heard nonstop “they never shoulda been transferable in the first place” but what is the downside? all it does is keep the economy moving yano? It opens opportunity. On the other end, it puts money into the server and doesn’t take it out but that’s why you increase the casino gambling limits lol

I don’t know about them too much but are vigi points transferable? SWAT points? If not, then maybe consider the rework? Idk.

Interesting argument.

Additionally, if they cannot be traded then I feel like the WPS should just be wiped off the server and add it to a normal shop. It doesn’t seem like there should be a currency system in the server you can’t trade because everything else can be? If you have a gang who is smaller and doesn’t like to war or they just are not good it completely screws them over yano? Those larger gangs will dominate the WP market

Removing the option bit keeping the point system seems a decent option. Decrease scamming and also make the black markets more important since wp items could still be sold for money there.

completely agree with the only if the WP shop gets reworked. Idk why we'd give up the ability to transfer unless new shit gets added

WPS should not be removed but they should not be transferable. Let the gods of warfare decide the prices of wp guns/ammo/utility items and let the peons in the mainlands buy the items for scalper prices on the black market. In the end if it becomes non-transferable, then skill determines your income of warpoints which makes you earn more $$$ on the BM.

As a shit shot myself I suggest taking away the transferability of warpoints from account 1 to account 2. Only so the greats may earn a great living on the server.

As for the argument of a 'small gang' not liking to war then they can simply: not accept the war. Warpoints come from wars and cartels, so if a small gang doesn't want war or sucks at war, then they don't have to war and therefore don't suffer.

Large gangs still need to hit the target, 15 shitters can get wiped by 5 greats. It's happened many times. Also if a large gang wins the fight, their warpoints are more than likely spread amongst 15 members which means they can't buy shit as the points are non-transferable.

The argument that skill correlates to war point accumulation is false due to the nature of war points currently being transferable.

If you're going to make a currency unable to be traded, which one was able, just remove the currency.

An alternative would be a forced payout of war points ($15,000 per?) and an addition of a new currency which works the exact same way.

I would only recommend this if there were new items added.

So when you talked about "forced payouts" my logic is this (because I agree with the rest of this that just remove it if it isnt tradable) but if you make it so players can buy/sell to an NPC or something, then honestly why have the currency? If there is nothing special about it and no way to obtain it without going to buy or worry about supply/demand then its just like normal money at that point?

So I think either they keep it how it is or just remove it because any other option would result in a shitstorm.
