Buff Advanced Rebel Processing Licenses

Currently not mathematically worth buying. 

Anyone who has enough money for advanced rebel licenses isnt doing runs, and anyone who does do the runs and has enough money for the licenses would take an ridiculous amount of time to break even. If the goal of the change is to get more people to do runs, the current math doesnt incentivize it enough to make a difference.

Current Meth: $7.5mil for a 10% speed buff. And another $7.5mil for a flat ~2 minute faster bonus. ($15mil total)

Suggested Meth: Combine the two variants of Adv licenses with both effects. Cost 1.5x the current price of 1 respective license (ex: $11mil for Meth). Restrict ppl only to own one Adv/Pro combo license at a time (ex: If own Meth Adv Pro, cannot own Frog Adv Pro).  Buff to 20% speed bonus.

I agree aside from restricting.  Nothing will kill someones bank faster than restricting all the legal runs, and then restricting all the illegal runs but one.

Like I would literally be able to just watch someones money on stats, and plan accordingly every single time knowing where they're going to end up.

I agree that this should be buffed significantly however I completely disagree with the idea to only allow one license. the math I agree is in the end not worth buying for those who do runs. I feel like fixing the numbers and adding more bang for your buck is definitely the way to go on this one.  30% speed increase is enough to notice and 10% bonus is what it should be for the millions you spend.

I think the thing to  remember most is the rebel+ and processing bonuses isn't for everyone.  It's for a niche of people who have money to throw away en masse, and to encourage them to do so.

The idea is more of a recoup your losses than get rich.  Should be a total net negative.

no the entire purpose of the license is to make more money. It only gives a bonus that facilitates getting more money. It should be a net positive or else nobody will buy it. There is no other purpose to civs.

And the staff objective should be getting adv people doing runs and also makes robbing runs more prevalent as an activity; instead of feds being the only thing to do for the financially set civs.

Ok... by buying the license, it ALWAYS pays for itself over enough time as long as you keep it.  It's permanent.  So even if you play an hour a month for 5 year it'll pay for itself.  Your math that it isn't worth it because it doesn't pay off, but given enough time it ALWAYS WILL because the output is POTENTIALLY INFINITE.

you would have to do more of the run than the #1 runner for each resource to pay it off. And nobody will achieve that before the server dies in 1-2 years max. So not infinite and not in a reasonable time frame.

For mushrooms, for example:  Depending on your house setup, if it's smart, processing takes about 66% of the time and gathering about 33%.  Not going to account for travel time because it's light compared to everything else.  

A full hemtt and backback sell for about 4.5 Mil.  4.5 Mil: 66%,  2.97 at 10%, 290k.  Price of Mushroom license:  7.125 MIl/ 290k

24 Hemtt boxes for it to pay for itself.

That's not to mention the safety advantages of spending the least amount of time at the second most dangerous part of a run.

Which is 31k, which is actually a decent amount.  I'm starting to agree maybe a buff is bit in order lol.

if it takes 1 second to process a mushroom, we've saved a grand total of ~10 seconds for $7.125mil
Keep in mind, the bonus persists through multiple runs and doesnt benefit passed the first run.  So how many first-run Hemmts does that turn it out to be?

Even if that second license was buffed to the point that you start off with the 20% bonus, you're only saving 40 seconds. It's fundamentally a stupid license.

So how about changing the second license to something more interesting, like increasing the processing bonus cap and stacks up to 50% instead of 20%? Would need to process 600 mushrooms to get that maximum bonus. But then the following runs after a first HEMMT run you'd essentially be able to double pro for the time it takes to single pro. It's a big buff, but balanced because it's conditional on doing huge, consecutive, successful runs. *Also balanced by the fact, double pro'ing takes 50% more time to gain a 25% sell bonus which is half as time efficient- and this license change would just essentially remove that inefficiency on those conditional, consecutive, successful runs.

Then buff the first license 10->25%. *10 HEMMTs to break even

 

This is also not factoring in Cartels and cartel tax.

Overall, this would increase competition over cartels, runs, and robbing simultaneously while taking pressure off of federal events without nerfing federal events - balancing player behavior/activity to have more variety. I'd really like to see these buffs done because they'd benefit the server allot.
