With dantes logic you can rdm someone and comp them $1m. If you really dont like someone just rdm them and send them 1m comp, You will not be banned. Happy rdming

The admins on this server are not on the same page when it comes to punishing players and it really shows. Like for example for me, yesterday i was banned for VDM as a first time offender in my 2 years on this server... no warning no nothing. ( even knowing the guys proof didn't show a VDM and my ban was lifted)

Meanwhile a buddy of mine can accidently cross fire a medic, comp him the 600k he asked for and HE STILL CATCHES A BAN.

Then a player who constantly RDMs sends comp after they were told no comp and the admins give him a warning lol.

The logic of the staff on this server is hilarious at best, they let the repeat offenders off and smack the ban hammer on the people who actually made a innocent mistake.

 

What's this dispute ID? So next time i get disputed for something i'll just send a bunch of unsolicited comp and when i get banned i can cite dantes logic and get off easy

Intentionally leaving out the part where the player offered to give you his bounty which was much more than the player he killed, comped, went to support trying to resolve it and had a support member leave a note and vouch for him that he was trying to rectify the issue. If there’s genuine effort to correct a mistake then we’ll work with you. Pretty simple. If sr admin decides to ban - no worries. But after seeing his self report to be on top of it, the support member vouching for his efforts AND his efforts in the dispute - a ban wasn’t warranted as the player understood they fucked up and tried to fix it.

Sometimes it's not about the money, sometimes its about the RP and the enjoyment people get out of it. This dude may never have the chance to have that interaction again. This is the thing most of the player base has forgotten... the RP.

While it's not my report or my gang or my situation i would LOVE to see the POV from the dude who "made a mistake". I would be willing to bet money all you'll hear in the audio is "shoot me, shoot me"

Anyone facing a ban, especially a perm would try their absolute hardest to fix a situation that they shouldn't of created in the first place.

It’s up to him if he wants to post it but I will say in his self report about the situation his gangmate even asks him why he shot the guy and he says he didn’t know it was him and then a second later an enemy pops around the same corner. It was a rule break but it was clearly an accident but if there wasn’t genuine effort to resolve the issue he would have still gotten banned. It’s not always about throwing money at someone. I deny unsolicited comp to get out of bans and ban people pretty regularly - but if there’s a genuine effort to correct a genuine mistake and not a malicious asshole move - I’ll usually do my best to work with the player. I know you’re probably still upset about the bad ban you got - but I promise you that most admins do their best to assess the issue as well as the effort from the reported to fix the problem before just handing out bans. 
 

In the end, I told OP to make a report for sr admin if he wanted to and I assigned it as soon as he did because if a sr admin thinks it still warrants a ban - I respect it. But if someone goes above and beyond to correct a mistake, I don’t think they should get dicked.

While I was wrong for banning you. When I watched the video it looked like a malicious intentional VDM. The truck boxer gets rammed, he hops out and sees you standing there as an exploded hatchback flies into the sky, and than his truck explodes. I check the dispute and read you telling the player you’re going to comp him for the rule break. If you hadn’t decided to troll a member of the community that just had a rule broken against him, I wouldn’t have used the dispute as confirmation of responsibility.
