GA Carrier rig question

Does the carrier rig work in the same sense as the cop vest?

 

Not bullet proofing, but bullet resistant...

 

In other words, is it better than normal vests at rebel

As far as I know the armor rating on that vest is the same as the other high end vests you can buy from the rebel base. It just looks much better then the other vests. I do believe the armor rating on the high end rebel vests also have a higher rating then what the APD uses.

Did not know that.. I know on my cop I can take quite a few shots while on Civ I can't even take 2 shots from a rook with the rebel vest... Is there anyway to look up the armor rating? Or is that something that olympus decides

From past experiences, the GA vest is amazing, i believe it has more armor than even the corporal vest, and it holds so much it's basically like a backpack.
