While there may not be a definitive solution mentioned in the provided conversation, there are a few general troubleshooting steps you can take to address issues with Arma 3 being capped at 4GB of RAM: Check Game Settings: Ensure that you've adjusted the correct settings within the game. This includes the "maxMem" value in the Steam launch options, as well as any in-game settings related to memory usage. Verify Game Files: Use Steam's built-in feature to verify the integrity of the game files. Right-click on Arma 3 in your Steam library, go to Properties > Local Files, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files." This ensures that your game files are not corrupted. Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated or incompatible drivers can sometimes cause performance issues. Review Mods/Add-ons: If you are using any mods or add-ons, they might be contributing to the issue. Try disabling them one by one to see if the problem persists. Reinstall the Game: If none of the above steps work, consider uninstalling and reinstalling Arma 3. This can sometimes resolve issues related to game files and configurations. Check for Game Updates: Ensure that you have the latest updates for Arma 3 installed. Developers frequently release patches and updates that may address performance issues. Contact Official Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to the official support channels for Arma 3. They may be able to provide specific guidance or solutions tailored to your issue.

Dear Olympus Community, As much as it pains me to write these words, the time has come for me to bid you farewell. It has been an incredible journey, full of fun, excitement, and friendship, and I will always cherish the memories we've made together. I want to thank each and every one of you for the countless hours of gaming, laughter, and support. You've made my time in this community truly unforgettable, and I feel blessed to have been a part of it. However, as much as I've enjoyed being a member of this community, I've come to the realization that it's time for me to move on. As much as I love gaming, I've decided to focus my time and energy on other pursuits, and sadly that means saying goodbye to all of you. Please know that this decision was not an easy one, and it's not because of anything any of you have done. It's simply a personal choice that I feel is best for me at this time. I hope you can understand and respect that. I will always look back on my time here with fondness, and I hope that our paths will cross again someday. Until then, I wish you all the best and hope that you continue to find joy and camaraderie in the game we all know and love Arma 3. Thank you for everything. Until next time, Doofy
