Just went to start Arma, had it auto update - looks like the server(s) are unplayable once you update arma, so i'd stay clear in the meantime.
Bummer!
Looks like the server is running at ver 1.74 and the new update is 1.76.142872
@Jesse @Poseidon Guessing this will be something that Olympus will just have to be updated to?
Just apply on the forums, any gang worth being in will be mature enough not to hold grudges.
BW is always recruiting. Just comes down to having the right credentials.
Best of luck!
Literally all you have to do is read over the handbook.. Read it 3-4 times, understand it and obviously the only questions you will be asked for the deputy/entry test will be based on what a DEPUTY has to know.
@DINGUSDEAN
Is this not contrary to what you had said? Just trying to be 100% clear.. Any time for any reason with the approval of an online corp sounds like a heli patrol is not out of the question.
@G.O.A.T. Not trying to bug, mind clarifying?
Rog, just that "Any other use ask a cpl" sentence (last sentence) seems as though they could ask to do a heli patrol. Glad to hear that is not the case. Thanks for the clarification!
So Po's are technically allowed to do red zone heli patrols if they ask a cpl+? If so, some type of rule should be written about min amount of people in the heli to do so?
Interesting rule changes, but Po's are def gonna be asking to do heli patrols in their m900's 24/7 now. Should be interesting.
As much as people are going to complain about this, the reality is that there have been times where for one reason or another apd are only getting on scene of the Blackwater with 9-10 minutes on bomb remaining. Not like this makes the apd any better, just allows for realistic response time for the days where there are no corporals+ to pull heli's, present.
KOTH heli's are super sluggish, workable but definitely sluggish. I'd give tier 2 a try, it's reasonable and comes in handy with those combat landings once you get used to it.
