  1. Did you just quote me? Yep, thanks for clearing this up, because I was killed with aimbot about 2 weeks ago and I reported it without a video clip (video clip would have just showed me dying randomly, with no sound of gunshots even, inside a building) and I figured it they looked at the logs it would show that the guy who got the kill was probably 6 km away (Kavala chop shop, and I was at Athira rebel) but admins didn't even look at it. Or at least they didn't tell me what the logs showed. In this case there was no kill, and no video submitted against me.
  2. This implies I could enter a red zone and fire a Titan at any one flying past. Which you can't. You wouldn't be using the Titan 'in the red zone'. Or am I missing something. If red zones are KOS how can anyone inside a red zone complain that you killed them? And for that matter, how would they ever be able to prove it? Thus I can only conclude this is not the rule as intended on Olympus. People inside red zones are KOS, and you can shoot at them even if you happen to be outside the red zone. After they are engaged obviously they could shoot back (or if they see you preparing an ambush they could engage you with a message).
  3. NLR ban levels of petty! LOL Now imagine someone got an NLR ban, a 'dispute abuse' ban (where they use dispute just to offer an epi to someone they killed in a red zone), and a fail Titan, where the Titan didn't even hit. What level of petty would that be?
  4. What did I confess? What evidence is there for any of this? This is the first time I have seen anyone banned without a video submitted. The Titan didn't hit, how can it be Titan fail. I wasn't in the NLR zone, how can it be breaking NLR. I used the dispute system to offer him (actually his gang member, dontlookup) an epi after I killed him with a Protector inside Rebel. This is just kindness, not dispute abuse. At the very minimum, re-write the rules to clear all these issues up. I have played for 5 years, seen the NLR message countless times, and it says "leave the area and do not return". If 'interacting with someone inside the NLR' is against the rule, add it to the rule! Same with KOS zones. If you cannot shoot someone inside a KOS zone if you are not also in the KOS zone, add it to the rules. Don't pretend that I am stupid and have never read the rules. NONE of what I am banned for is covered explicitly in the rules. Want to know why? Because before the Titan,I killed one of TeamPlayers in rebel with a protector, and after the Titan, they still crashed the heli, and I typed "Oof" in side chat. That is why I got banned. Because they were embarrassed and salty.
  5. Just someone quote to me from the rule book what I am doing wrong. Is the Titan not being used 'in' an illegal area, because I am not in the illegal area? Why does the rule not say that, then? It is being used in the illegal area, because the target is in an illegal area. I am not breaking NLR because I am not in the NLR area. The NLR rule says do not enter the 1km radius around where you died. If you can't shoot into it, why does the rule not say that? And lastly, I got a ban for abusing the dispute system when I simply used the dispute system to offered to epi the guy. I don't even know what harm I caused, by missing a Titan, so how would it even be possible for me to comp the aggrieved party? I can't, because there is no aggrieved party. This is just saltiness and someone calling in a favor from a friend. I reported some guys for using actual scripting (ESP, god mode, and aimbot), and I was told I did not have evidence. Well, it's true, I didn't. I was told to look at the evidence guidelines. Then two days later I get banned without the evidence guidelines being followed!
  6. I killed you in rebel, with a protector then offered to epi you. I've read the rules and trying to figure out what rule I broke. I used the dispute system to offer to epi a guy, because I knew I killed him just because I was jumpy inside rebel (and picked an epi up off his body). I was not inside NLR zone, the NLR rule says "If you die for any reason apart from dying by an Arma bug you may not return to that area for 15 minutes. (1 Kilometer from where you died)". I was not within 1 km of where I died. "Titans may be used without texts in illegal areas." I am shooting at a heli in an illegal area? The Titan is being used in the illegal area. Or am I missing something? The 'use' of the Titan is where I am shooting it? I thought standing in a red zone and shooting outside it is RDM/against the rules, after 1200 hours. And there is nothing in the handbook specifying this. Now I am being told it is the opposite? You cannot be outside a red zone, shooting in to an illegal/KOS area? I didn't hit him with the Titan, offered to epi, and wasn't in the NLR zone, and I still got banned without video evidence within 5 minutes?
  7. Well, except shooting at the head of Civilian Council, I guess. Guy is salty I killed him with a protector inside rebel, and then offered to epi him.
  8. See, this is why people that are tarded shouldn't be allowed an opinion. Literally none of the shots hit his engine. It makes me wonder if people even watch the videos they comment on. The panels are, in order, hull, ENGINE, INSTRUMENTS (cockpit), then underneath that, anti-torque rotor (rear rotor), main rotor and sling. Its his instrument panel that got hit, as he descended into my warning shots. Instrument panel. At the front of the heli. While the rear of the heli was facing me the whole time. Like I said, I was leading his heli and him coming down all crazy is what led to the shots hitting. So have we settled on this not being warning shots because my first three shots (allegedly) hit his heli? It's not the amount of shots, nor that it was semi-auto, but because his heli was hit (by him descending rapidly into where I was shooting/leading his heli)?
  9. So my warning shots weren't warning shots because it hit the heli, not because it was more than 3 shots. And semi-auto not an issue? I would have thought hitting the pilot or occupants would render it not warning shots (or obviously if the damage to the heli causes the pilot/passengers to die, like tail rotor damage).
  10. Now all of a sudden 'context' is important LOL. Just add it to the rules: "It is not warning shots if you fire in semi-auto. It is not warning shots if you fire more than 3 times. It is not warning shots if you damage the heli." The last one would obviously be a dumb one to add but you guys get the point. I don't see how you guys can say "Just read the rules" and treat me like I'm malicious and an idiot. And then have to explain various unwritten parts of the rule and disqualifiers (two pages worth of explanation). Like you guys legit think I was trying to shoot him out of his heli (RDM) and just call it warning shots? None of the warning shots hit him. Not one. Look at his health. And yet, after we are engaged, how long did he live? Not long. Obviously you shoot someone from the side, if you are trying to shoot them out of the cockpit. I happened to be UNDER the heli when it came flying in all crazy. Did I reposition? No. I was trying to warn him off but not only did he continue landing, he then got out of the heli and shot at me.
  11. Where is that written? In literally 4 years on the server I have never heard someone say "If you shoot more than 3 shots it becomes one way engagement from him to you, he can kill you but if you kill him it's RDM". He had a chance to leave but he landed and got out of his heli. So at that point I am supposed to just get shot because I fired the 'wrong' amount of warning shots? I didn't kill him because he shot back, I killed him because I had engaged him with warning shots. He shot at me because I engaged him with warning shots. He lost the gunfight so he decided to call it RDM. It's just having it both ways. Nowhere does it say "If you fire more than 3 shots it's not warning shots". Nowhere does it say "If he flies into the warning shots its not engagement". Because that would be stupid. How could the person firing warning shots know if their shots are hitting a heli moving at high speed. My mind is absolutely boggled by this concept "He is engaged but you are not". Never seen that written any where, never heard it mentioned ever. Never seen anyone banned for "Your opponent was engaged but you weren't". I'm not a mind reader, I don't know where he is going to land. Only after I put him down like a rabid dog did I even see that the guy in Athira square was from the same gang, hence why I had to shoot him too (gun store was like 100m away max). And he was literally RIGHT above me. 100% above me. 90 degrees above me for the math boffins.
  12. I'm leading his heli with the shots, but he is coming down into them. I was actually heading into square to chat with his buddy when he comes screaming in out of nowhere and he is actually right above me when he starts descending. It's not like there is time to switch to single fire, aim away from his heli, expect him to know its warning shots, and leave. I kept my eyes on him, lead the heli with the shots, he keeps landing so of course I have to assume he knows we're engaged. And what do you know, he gets out, points his gun at me AND SHOOTS (you can see his ammo decrease just before he is absolutely merked). Then he is just upset his little Sting taser lost against a SPAR17 in a good ole shoot out. "If a person does not fly away after being given warning shots you may then open fire on them". It's like you guys think my aim was bad, and thats why I failed to shoot him out of the cockpit. Thats clearly not the case. And before you cite 'rule 1' I already said I was leading the heli with the shots, I was not shooting directly at the air unit. This is why the instrument panel is getting hit, even though the tail of the heli is pointed at me as it descends and lands (after being warned off). A couple guys on here have working eyeballs. How everyone else does not see him get out of the heli and fire at me is beyond me.
  13. The only real question is, was I trying to do warning shots, or shoot his heli down. I think its clear I was not trying to shoot the heli down, I was firing warning shots. And he knew. Hence why he got out of the heli and shot at me.
