  2. Approved Ideas: Apologies to the community for the late RoundTable Summary as I have been away sick. Civ council, APD, RNR, and Staff are looking forward to a great year working together to bring some exiting changes and content to the server. We have some great things in store for the community. Shoutout our awesome community manager @ Mako for all the hard work and exciting things to come! Civilian Drop the VIGI tier system back down to 1-5 - 5.56 suppressor moved to 200 arrests. Arrest value increase will remain the same. everything becomes available at tier 5 ADR for tier 4 and up - Have fun with the new gun! 60 Renown Points 4th or 5th Cartel OFF Warzone (Oil or Frog) We'll be tying Frog sales into Arms Cartel. The other cartels/off WZ will not be coming. More warpoints for kills when within 100m of cartel flag - Increased by +1WP if target and killer are both in Cartel contest radius Buff compound zero - 35% value increase on sale Buff truck engines on tempest and hemtt so they can't be ripped quickly - Seems like a good change for the issues prevailing with lack of truck usage Gang perk for faster bolt cutting Tier is 2% faster tier two 4% tier three 6% faster News broadcast reduced to 1hr cooldown - Have fun abusing each other Sofia bank to old spot OR move the chop to the factory - Surprise incoming APD APD XP System - Most of this can be cannibalized for usage in other systems. It'd be nice to have an XP system early in the development we opted for Titles/stats to produce benefits, these are a better means of attributing bonuses to. SAPD can suggestion some type of salvaging from this towards the title system. A new system that gives APD Officers something to work towards while playing cop. Open for heavy discussion due to how significant of an addition this is. Question the Factory - Same as Gold trader interrogation, charge of 'Procurement of Illegal Equipment' mirroring whatever Drug Trafficking is in value. Same way the Drug Dealer and Moonshine Distributor work. It gives cops more reason to patrol the area and creates the chance for someone to be charged while using illegal scrap. APD Airdrops - Approved. Introduce a new airdrop that can be called in by Corporal+, featuring slightly boosted gear compared to standard airdrops. Calling this airdrop counts as using an Oly+ airdrop. This does not remove regular Oly+ airdrops from the APD and may generate additional revenue for Olympus if players enjoy it and purchase packs. The airdrop lands at various POIs across the map to encourage fights in less-utilized areas (e.g., Ghost Hotel, top-left castle, Rebel Outposts, Peninsula Gold, Federal Event Locations, etc.). 90-minute cooldown between uses. Maximum of 8 officers may respond, following standard wave rule. Officers receive a 1-minute advance notification of the spawn location before civilians. The intent is to create an event the APD can defend. No NLR for civilians when killed by an APD officer during the event. Civilians need 60 seconds to unseal the airdrop. Lethals only for all parties involved. Standard airdrop rules apply for initiating a seize; however, a 20-minute on-screen timer is added while inside the zone. If the timer expires, the APD may attempt to seize the contents without needing to call the area clear. Could potentially take higher-tier gear from the Evident Locker and redistribute it into this airdrop alongside filler loot as that event is not commonly ran. APD Engagement while robbing - For the first life responding APD may treat the hostage situation in the same regard as Civilians, e.g. shooting as they have your group mate hostage. Following attempts must follow standard engagement rules, e.g. verbal/code 3/fired upon. Change: When an officer is in restraints, the APD does not need to Code 3/Verbal while fighting the hostage takers Reason: Many ideas have been tossed around on how to combat APD robbing, and approaches like Guns Hot Hawks or Any Means often feel too far over the line in terms of balance. We believe this change would allow officers to play more strategically and make these situations far less frustrating to deal with, rather than simply alerting civilians with tasers to officer positions at all times. Civilians are already engaged with each other or with cops when they have a gang member in restraints, so this change would serve as a similar mirror to that rule. Lower Side Events Cooldowns / Allow multi-events - at 13+ cops a secondary event may be started. Change: Lower the cooldowns of non-federal events such as banks, pharma's, etc. and allow more events to occur at the same time. Reason: This would allow more officers to actively engage in events across the map, rather than only a few getting to participate while the rest are stuck mindlessly patrolling or all stacking a single event together. R&R Add Random car fires - Cool little content, shouldn't be terribly difficult to make. To clarify, this will be random spawned vehicle prefabs, not player vehicles. 250 - 350 gallons of water needed to extinguish 25k payout Reasoning: This further expands fires in hopes of the system to be used more in game. Prowler - Slightly faster alternative to the Qilin Prowler (light) to EMT Prowler to Basic Reasoning: Just another Off-road vehicle for medics. Hunter (Smoke) - Have fun with the new vehicle. Supervisor + Reasoning: The Supervisors don't have a dedicated ground vehicle, and this would be nice for them to have. Change Kajman price - $900k. $947,500 => $650,000 Reasoning: The vehicle is a bit too expensive, and this brings it in line with the other vehicles in the fleet. Fire hose rework - QoL but lower priority. When standing next to a refill vehicle, you can attach the hose to the vehicle for a continuous spray, versus having to constantly refill. Reasoning: a QOL improvement for handling fires better. Vehicle shift - Have fun with the shuffle. Qilin (Light) Basic => EMT Quad Bike Basic => EMT Taru (Fuel) Search => Adv Para Huron Pararescue => Search Go-Kart Pararescue => Basic Reasoning: Just moving some vehicles down to the lower ranks. Denied Ideas: Civilian Make the art gallery a Jewelry store and make it like the bank - Pointless change to the existent Gallery, if you wanted another bank location there are better suggestions then scraping existent content. 10-minute timer can be sold at gold trader Get jewels, sell at gold trader, worth the same as money bags. CMR removed for cop and CAR95 Non LMG Variant added - Penetration of engine only starts at like 10m. The CAR-95 doesn't have the muzzle velocity to disable engines regularly. This is getting denied so that all engines can be buffed. Both can rip engine, so many cops have a very strong gun Add back Cartel drug dealer back and remove pop up drug dealer - This was abused significantly in the past, its usage was heavily limited to specifically being a buffed dealer post-bank with little to no counter play from the APD. APD Increase PO Heli Limit - Concerns regarding accessibility of the APD to freely patrol even given it's legal zones. There isn't much of a need as there is almost always a Corporal+ online for an air patrol. Change: Increase the limit of PO Helis allowed on the map to two Reason: PO Heli's cannot be used to patrol red zones without being granted PC, so this change would allow more Patrol Officers on the map to patrol legal zones, assist newer players, and transport themselves around the map in a less restrictive way. Remove Tasers from the Staff Point Shop - This was vetoed extensive changes have already been made, and we're not concerned about the redemption of them now with adjustments to the values and restrictions on the amount redeemable. Reason: Cops don't like being tased. Civs don't like being tased. Remove the ability for people to acquire tasers without having to actually rob them off a cop. Something this significant should not be earned by doing work out of game, especially to the levels that we've seen them be used. Refund staff point tasers if they're still sitting in the staff members house/item comp so that they can purchase other non-taser gear. FTO+ Cop Point Increase / Federal Reserve Start Increase - We don't feel like adjusting this system. This relies heavily on individuals in the FTO role to make up for the Deputies present. Deputies are already halved in value. Change: Increase FTO+ point value to 1.5 & increase the needed points to start a Federal Reserve to 7 Reason: Federal Reserve's being farmed when only Jr. APD are online creating several issues for the server. Officers end up frustrated after being overwhelmed with little to no chance to respond effectively, and the economy suffers from large amounts of money flooding in. Increasing these two values would make it easier to start Federal Reserve's when higher-ranking officers are online to assist, while making it more difficult to start them in the middle of the night when only a few Jr. APD are on and have no realistic chance to win. Spike Strip Animation - We just enacted this animation change, if the spike strips were reverted to the hotkey as suggested in this RT, then it'd have the same issue as prior where APD officers can freely place it without any restrictions. We feel like there aren't needed changes in regard to this and are satisfied with the animation. Change: Play the animation on pick up, not on placement. Reason: The spike strip has been made completely ineffective due to the recent change and is now more hassle than it’s worth to use. Having the pickup animation play on pickup vs placing would make it usable in fights again, while also adding a risk factor if you miss your spike. Missing a spike and then having to spend a few seconds picking it back up while the suspect drives away can drastically affect the outcome of a situation. Spike strips are 1 of JrAPDs few counters to armored vehicles and we feel this change is a middle ground from how it was before to how it is now.

  5. Approved Ideas: Civilian Staff T5 Vigi removed - It's being repriced in our staff shop. Staff should be required to earn it through normal progression, just like every other player. This ensures the system remains fair and balanced, preventing gameplay advantages and maintaining equal effort and dedication for all players. Lower the number of players required for airdrops and radioactive to 45 - Reduced to 50 players for spawning. Change weekend airdrop scheduling to 8PM ET. Cops can’t take redgulls and epis unless you're in a redzone - The system used in Federal events will apply globally. December 2x Gold sale price - 1.25x, not 2x. Merry Christmas. Staff Remove processing licenses from the server and replace them with a starter tutorial for processing - License prices reduced. Altis Life was created many years ago, and at the time, roleplay was expected from people. Olympus has hardly any roleplay, and these small barriers to entry make it difficult for new players Licenses are something you buy once and never need to care about again forever. This makes the roleplay the lowest of the low. Suggestion: Remove all licenses and replace them with a generic Legal Processing License. This license will be acquired by completing a processing tutorial similar to the new player silver mining tutorial. This will teach the player how to complete runs on the server and provide them with the necessary licensing to do all runs in the future. This new player tutorial will follow the same rules as the existing tutorials I may suggest an option to opt out of this new player tutorial. This way players who join with friends can ignore it and learn from their friends. Restrict new player kidneys from being robbed for 10 hours - Seems like a positive change. New players have no idea what's going on, and getting your kidney stolen can be confusing. We do not indicate that you need to go to the hospital, so a new player might just log out, or they have to limp until someone helps them. Alternative option: remove the effects of having your kidney stolen. Allow the civilian to still walk/jog (restrict sprinting?) Add the tutorial as a spawn option for new players - Already an option in-game. We can look at providing a better tutorial experience. The tutorial is hidden away in the Y menu in the quest menu, which isn't the easiest button to see, especially for the new players. This would allow them to see it right away when they are choosing where to spawn in the server. It isn't forced, but it will give them an idea that we have a tutorial. will be a spawn option until you have 30 hours on the server Prevent starting a Federal Reserve or Blackwater X minutes before a restart - 35 minutes before restart. The Federal Reserve would be restricted from starting with 30 minutes or less on the clock Blackwater would be restricted from starting with 35 minutes or less on the clock If CIVs request to be sent straight to jail the cop can do so without the need to process - Already in the handbook. No civ wants to sit in restraints for extended periods of time APD Escort Minimum requirements lowered by 15 player pop - Only the Large, the others won't receive this reduction. Small 45 -> 30 Medium 60 -> 45 Large 75 -> 60 Would allow for more escort events on lower pop times Officers rob timer increased to 1 hour from 30 minutes - Despite the past ruling we'll allow this and hopefully APD members will continue patrolling without fear in their hearts. This would allow a longer response period for the APD to chase down criminals without the fear of being robbed again for their weapons. There is already a large surplus of tasers out in the wild as it is. Federal event bomb defuses payout 500k -> 2M - Payout representative of the defuse, finally better than a Pharma. This would provide a slightly higher payout to APD members. As it stands, banks pay out more than federal events. Denied Ideas: Civilian Advanced Vigilante License - Only positives, no negatives. Think about Adv. Rebel trade-offs for future content or an advanced progression. This literally gives you a significant financial advantage that you'd pay off immediately with the benefits it gives. A premium upgrade designed for experienced Vigilantes who have reached the highest level of progression. This license provides exclusive perks, enhanced rewards, and improved operational efficiency. Requirements: Must be Tier 5 Vigilante to purchase. Perks & Benefits: Instant Unrestrain Ability: Grants the ability to instantly unrestrain suspects and civilians, similar to APD functionality. Increased Bounty Payouts: All bounty payouts are increased by +5% per Vigilante tier. Legal Sales Bonus: Receive a bonus on all legal sales prices, increasing profits from legitimate activities. Access to the Bounty System: If the bounty system is implemented, only Advanced Vigilantes will have access. Discounted Kits: Receive a 15% discount when purchasing complete Vigilante kits. Purpose: The Advanced Vigilante License rewards Tier 5 Vigilantes, enhancing operational efficiency and providing economic and tactical advantages for elite members. Cap WP loss at 2 (will settle for 3) - Use big gear lose big WP. The gain is already very large; it's not meant to be 1 sided where you're gaining significantly more then you could possibly lose. Processing minigame Same minigame as lockpicking, where it doesn't impact the process if not played if you manage to get x amount correct you receive a bonus (4-5 of the drug you are processing) adds a bit of skill to processing and more engaging The idea is also that if you have the Adv Rebel Processing License for the drug in question you won't receive the minigame, but you receive the bonus as a default, this will make more people get the Adv rebel licenses and also give people more of a reason too. Introduce Dog tags - Countless reasons why this would be negligible and forgotten within the week. Everyone has one on death, 0 virtual weight, sells for 1500 for civilians, 3k for cop's dog tags at BMs and rebels, essentially scrap. Cops seizure is 25% of value Fix terror WPs so it simulates the gear - Not broken, intended to avoid farming noobs and the RDM nature of terrors. Cops are allowed to open the back door during a “dome strategy” fed - WR in the gutter, this isn't going to force people out of the dome. It'll just result in an even lower success rate. 10 minutes or less on bomb timer 30 second animation to bolt cut the back dome door Staff Remove 3:1 rule - too much all at once, still an RP server even if it's lite. For the reasons stated above. It was added when you couldn't rob cop tasers. Tasers have flooded the market, and tasing cops with a basic tier 0 vigilante license is easy when you have numbers. A Sting taser sells for upwards of $1 million. The 3:1 rule is fun to utilize, but it's resulting in APD never playing when they don't have higher rank officers online. Deputies and POs stand no chance patrolling solo or in small numbers because gangs severely overwhelm them. The APD has admitted this is why they do not want to play in the early morning or late at night. APD Airdrop events lethal only - Eliminates risk and opportunity to rob gear from the airdrop off whoever gets crate first. Really hacky suggestions in RT for tasers converting to lethals or some shit which seems to be complicated to be worth this effort. All weapons would automatically be converted into lethal-loading weapons during airdrop events. The main expectation of fighting within the airdrop is that you would only be facing others with lethal weapons.

WPL Rework - Updated - Google Docs Remove NLR from Terror - Buff Compound zero price and lower time it currently takes 1 hr. Alert will last for 3 minutes Civs will be able to restrain and disable the button with a GPS Jammer. Medics can repair their panic button at the hospital. (Cost 1k) Would change how combat is handled. Cops pushing back to a situation would not know exactly where bodies are. If people are fighting each other and their group or gang mate is out in the open. They can move their body to cover, making it safe to be revived. A lot of situations come down to just camping bodies and being able to move a body would make it to where you could potentially get your group or gang mate back in the fight. Pocket Respirator - Only for Medic shops/usage. Y-Item 5 Weight Key bindable Allows users to breathe underwater for 3-minutes reasoning: Medics carry their tool kit and med kit and already have a vest on, which leaves no space for medics to carry physical scuba gear on them. Most delayed water rescues are due to medics having to get rid of their current physical gear and then buy scuba gear before responding. This will allow quicker water rescue responses. Setting the timer to 3 minutes should be enough for medics to dive down to retrieve someone and come back up, and 3 minutes is not enough to end an engagement so medic can’t use this to escape. Medic formal suits - Each rank will have a special suit they can wear reasoning: Provides further customization for the medics and role-play capabilities. Medic Blackfish - Enjoy. Pararescue+ Capable of doing water drops for fire fighting. reasoning: another vehicle for medics to use with additional utility. APD Make it so rebels cannot use the Auction house while there are cops within the redzone. Reason: It is too easy for them to store air drop gear, BW gear + Tasers, from the cops with no chance of seizure. Add charge for selling gold, auto added when interrogating gold dealer - $50k, probable cause, cash seizable charge. Timer for interrogation after selling 8 minutes as it isn't a redzone like the drug dealers. Allow the APD to be able to interrogate gold dealers, just like drug dealers, and auto add a gold selling charge that would allow the APD to seize the money off the suspect. Reason: Seems like an overlooked feature as this is a feature with drug dealers. Would make the aftermath of the feds more of a fight over the money. Advanced GPS tracker tracking vehicle speed Reason: When an advanced GPS tracker is placed on the vehicle it would not only track the vehicle but the speed it is going at. This would give the advanced tracker a little bit more usability than just showing on the map for everyone in the group Gear Escort Rework - Need drop-off areas stationed along midway similar to Gold Escort. Instead of unsealing the gear on the truck, you would need to steal the vehicle and bring it to a dealer, similar to the gold trader or the checkpoints for Evidence Locker. Reason: Cops are required to respond to the gear escort even after it has been stolen/unsealed. Gear escorts are rarely done right now because nobody wants to drive an empty truck across the map for $50,000. Not only would civilians get the chance to fight more of these events, but the prolonged fight would make it more fun for both sides. Make houses/garages disabled within a 1.5k radius of the federal event when active - Houses disabled within active Federal Rings. Reason: It is a common strategy to pull/store gear in cities around the fed, this would also limit people from being able to pull ATs/Miniguns in use to easily roach then store the vehicle. This would provide a higher risk when pulling vehicles like this to a federal event Move the contraband seize kit down to corporal - 2 usages in September, shouldn't be much of an increase in usage. Reason: Want to make it more accessible to the APD as it doesn't get much usage from the current rank. Denied Ideas: Civilian Settable Key binds Send to Jail — assignable key bind Concerns with robo copping, accidental usage. Cops must wave two times to warzone before bringing a ghawk and can only bring one per wave. If following someone in with the more than one hawks out its ok and any means this does not apply Already cannot first wave ghost hawk, concerns with rebels fleeing to WZ post Federals. If this is a consistent issue of mass usage submit an IA. Introduce a new vehicle (possible zamak repair) - Lack of risk on processing, less interaction in processors, spreads population thinner. Allows you to sync with legal processors (drive the truck up to the processor in question e.g iron pro, press sync zamack repair, wait 2 minutes) Once synced you can then move the zamack repair to anywhere within a certain radius (possibly 1-1.5 clicks) this then gives people or groups an alternative location to process at making it possibly safer and more efficient. Truck can only be synced with legal runs possibly making more people chose legal runs and WPL. (Not affected by medics title bonus) reasoning: Something completely new for medics and allows for a more engaging medic experience. APD Lethal Auth for terror/martial law - 2 instances of martial law and 16 terrors, neither of these events have wave rule. If you're really having trouble taking back a city call more police officers in. Reason: With it being martial law / terror, the city has fallen out of control. This would provide the APD another tool to use in attempt to bring order back into the city Federal events seize kit - Federals already in the bin, not approving Cop lethal injectors. You'll just have to sit the 15 minutes on their bodies. Change: This would allow the APD to use a seize kit that would be purchasable at the APD shop for only use at / aftermath of federal events to be used to seize all illegal items/gear on a dead civilian. Similar to how the APD Contraband kit works but target for federal event use Reason: This would alleviate camping dead bodies for extended periods of time. APD undercover weapons / other changes - Issues with utilization of the same weapons as Civilians. We'll see what can be done with the Dispute menu. Change: Change the weapons in the APD undercover shop to look like standard civilian weapons but would still have the taser property to them. At the moment you can use the dispute menu to figure out who someone is/who is under cover. This is not the intended use the the dispute system. Hiding the player ID/making a way to have the under cover APD officers name show up in the dispute menu system would help. Reason: It is far too obvious to the experienced civilian when a cop is undercover, they are very easy to spot with the cop tasers.

You already are taxed more based on activity alongside issues that might arise from development fumbling (e.g. houses deleted) High Value Target (HVT) Alot of development work to conflict with a system in development (Vigilante Warrants) with no guarantee of usage. Values are significantly above what we'd consider acceptable as well given they'd be near the full bounty value for a combat role. Civilians should not be able to defend the AA with no risk to themselves; they should be required to push out of the compound if they want to maintain control of the skies. RPG Rockets can only be acquired with War points or at the Blackwater Approved for removal from crafting, will retain scrap value. RPG rockets and launchers will see an increase in Gear drop events (BW, Escort, Airdrop, etc.) Reason: With 500-750 rockets being crafted each month, there is a clear imbalance on the server. Ammo for a weapon capable of this level of destruction should not be this easily obtainable. Make Scrap Illegal Will seize for $0 as it's a virtual representation of physical items, there are plenty of opportunities to seize the physical version for cash before this. Reason: Making scrap illegal will create more of a risk when going to craft endgame level equipment. Scrap is primarily obtained through illegal ways and is used to craft illegal items. DENIED IDEAS: Remove Insurance on Ifrits 0 thought given to how this would affect the APD. The APD have no means of blowing up a vehicle or deinsuring it, when you seize it you remove it entirely from the garage. Not sure who gave you this idea but maybe you should think it out before Roundtabling it. Reason: The ifrit is one of the most used and heavily armored vehicles on the server. There needs to be a risk to utilizing one beyond a cheap reinsurance fee. Gang base Respawn Cooldown: Gangbase terminal still on the board, maybe @ Milo will stop being lazy and sending cat gifs since he loves the APD. Reason: The Gang base is almost impenetrable once the civilians have set up. This change will create more of an incentive to play smarter with there being a penalty to the civs applied on each death. Stacking Respawn Delay (Max 5 Minutes): Each time a civilian within Gang base dies to an APD Officer there will be a minute applied to their respawn timer. Qilin (with doors) for POs for Federal Events: Doorless Qilins not seeing much usage + Corporals can pull the vehicle for them if they're so inclined. Hard to substantiate the need for this when WR is decreasing across the board. Reason: The doorless Qilin has not made any impact for the JrAPD. Giving them access to the qilin with doors will give them some form of limited mobile cover when fighting Federal Events.
