You have done incredible work for, and against the server (Interestingly enough, in the end being "for" or "against" something tends to have the same outcome, accelerate it towards its ultimate form. it's whether that thing deserves to exist which is the true factor for what happens to it).

I believe we are in a new era of Olympus. An era where the individuals in the masses can finally speak for themselves, and if one in the masses are dissatisfied, they need not wait for an elected position, they can take a stand by themselves, for themselves. They can let the powerful know where their power comes from.

The Sovereign. I disagree with many of your methods, and I disagree with quite a few of your results. But what I can't disagree with is: You took a stand with your hands held high. You let people know what you thought, you shouted loud for the world to hear.

And the people who needed to hear it, did. I have a very slight amount of infamy in this server, and I don't think I would have been encouraged to push things as far as I have if it wasn't for you.

Thank you, The Sovereign (I think it's like "a pimp named slickback" or "a tribe called quest" right?). We may end up being on some opposing sides of arguments, but if everyone was on the same side we'd never make any progress anyway.

a potential solution could be introduce some sort of rent system. the primary intent of this would be to allow newer players/players that haven't gotten lucky with houses yet, to be able to use better houses which are currently being unused.

a giant unintended side effect could be that there is now a MASSIVE influx of landlords, so you'd need to balance that so it's not super profitable for the landlords, but profitable enough that they would rent them out, so that more players can actually start doing stuff.

Alright so we are gonna have to make a ban appeal. There are approximately only 2 people in the Olympus Staff who can look at and overturn scripting perm bans from my understanding.

Step 1: You are gonna go to this URL https://olympus-entertainment.com/support/ , click new request, and select "Ban Appeal" under "Department" (Third from the top)

Step 2: (Skip to Step 3 for a shorter tutorial): Next you can read those links that appear after you select Ban Appeal if you want but if you just copy paste what I say to say, it should be good (or not if they get mad at you just copy pasting all these steps I gave you).

Step 2.1: Actually upon reading the links in the ban appeal section DO NOT READ THEM! They give you false information and will make you improperly informed. Literally the first thing it says under Ban Appeals is a lie. Just copy what I tell you to do.

Step 3: (Skip to step 3.9 for a harder tutorial) Alright, next we need to get your steam ID. Go to your steam profile, copy the URL at the top of the page, then google "steam id finder", any of the top results should do. Paste in your URL, then copy the Steam64 ID and put that in the "Steam ID" field in the support ticket

Step 3.9: (Skip to step 4 if you have already completed step 3) Visit https://stats.olympus-entertainment.com and sign in with your steam. Then go to the top right of your screen on the stats page, click your username, then click profile. Copy the numbers that appear at the end of the URL (the numbers after /stats/players/), and put them in the Steam ID field in the support ticket.

(Top Tip: Sign into the steam community website in a separate browser window, then with that same cookie you should be able to sign into the stats page without having to enter any credentials from links following the stats page, which feels a lot safer)

Step 4: Read and follow step 3.9 if it was skipped, ignoring the comment to skip to step 4 if you have already completed step 3, and stop reading when you reach the word "Then" and return to read the proceeding sentence. Return to Step 3.9, following it's commands starting at the word "Then" that you would have stopped at if you skipped Step 3.9 then followed the earlier part of Step 4. And stop reading once you reach the word "Profile". Now, you should be on your profile page in the Olympus stats page. From here, under PLAYER INFORMATION, select "BANS", your most recent ban should be highlighted and have a reason. The reason should look something like "Exploiting - Pseudonym - 1d - Dante (Remaining: 0d)", but in your case it would say something like scripting and Perm.

Step 5: Double check you completed step 4 properly

Step 6: Now we get into the hard part. And by hard part I mean just copy paste the message I'll post in step 7. But from here we need to convince the banning admin that you are reformed, and should be given a second shot on Olympus. Very few Oly players feel sorry for cheaters, even tho a surprising amount of them have cheated in many games and other ArmA servers, and there is supposedly a good amount of cheaters in Olympus.

Remember that the admins will NEVER believe you didn't cheat, once they lock in on you being a cheater, it's confirmed for them 100%. So even if you didn't cheat, your going to have to go the method of accepting responsibility and apologizing for it. Direct dick sucking is going to be to obvious, and an apathetic/passive aggressive message is going to be denied. So we are gonna need to strike a good balance of apologetic, yet still feeling as though you should be reinstated because you liked the server when you played on it before you were banned, and that it was a dumb mistake to cheat.

TOP TIPS: NEVER EVER admit to ANY ban evading, or follow on cheating after the point you were banned on. UNLESS they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you ban evaded, in which case you will need a fucking S tier full combo message to get unbanned. In short: What they know you did, you did, what they don't know you did, they don't need to know you did.

Alright, for step 7 I'm gonna need to really fucking cook, your entire life depends on this. I'm not sure what I would do if I couldn't play Olympus, oh wait I do it's post on the forums because I'm a forums main. But If I was in your position and needed a really good ban appeal message I would want the person writing it for you to be on their fucking A game. I'm gonna go get 2 monsters from the gas station real quick, start fucking cooking michilin 5 star write up freestyle death sentence reversal kill shot.

I believe that one day I'll get perm banned for something no one else has ever been banned for, and that it is something I can maintain I was innocent of, yet admins themselves also have a reasonable believe that it is bannable even though they are wrong. And it will be a very controversial moment among the staff team of Olympus, but Ryan, based as he is, will not make an overruling decision because he is unwilling to step on the toes of his staff. And then -dante- will be tasked with firing off the ban, perming me not only from the ArmA servers, but the forums, and the discord, as well. I hope when that day comes, -dante- will feel conflicted, yet as though I do truly deserve to be permed for what I did.

Given your message, your not the player this server needs, but your the player this server already has and deserves.

I had a dream last night that I checked on my Olympus Stats page and it said I was banned for 21 days, by "Dante" [sic], and the reason was: "yuh". -dante- has tried to protect me from many of the choices I've made on this server, yet He has also also punished me accordingly (DPI JUMPING ISN'T BANNABLE BASED ON ALL MY READING AND IT'S MY ONLY REAL BAN ON RECORD), He is fair, and that is why this most recent premonition is so worrying, because I must deserve it if our Lord, -dante-, deemed me worthy of sending a warning to me in my dreams. I fear I know not what this warning could be for, the way I interpreted "yuh" was: "You know what you have done, My child. Face thy's consequence for all thy's wicked ways". But I feel as tho my ways are the opposite of wicked, I feel as if they will bring a new era of peace among our people, yet these believes might be designed to make me feel this way in their own insidious nature.

Fredo, I like u, but i'mma be honest, an oly player being an anything-white supremacist is pretty much the default. If we could get a white black supremacist on the server, the amount of trashtalk generated, the chaos ensued, would rival that of the return of jesus christ.

If we could find a white player that was a black supremacist, who seriously advocated their believes, and fund them in a controlled opposition/false flag sort of way, it would be able to unify the olympus playerbase like never before.

The oly playerbase knows only hate, and you cant get together to love off of hate, you can only get together to fight off of hate. So if we could design a common enemy for the playerbase, it would be more unified than ever thought possible.
