Players may fire a titan without sending a text first if there is an enemy gang member anywhere in the aircraft. Not necessarily the pilot.

This is already the case, confirmed it in the admin chat a couple months ago. Just be careful to not fuck it up.

Landing an aerial vehicle only ends the titan engagement if all demands have been met. EX: "Auto hover and land or be titaned." Otherwise the titan is still hot even if the aerial vehicle takes off again.

Pretty sure this is already treated this way; same as saying "hands up or die" and having the dude double tap tab and run away.

or if the initial engagement was in an illegal area. EX: Bob shoots at Joe at drug dealer as Joe takes off in a hummingbird, and then Bob titans Joe even though Joe was technically out of the illegal zone at that point.

IMO this shouldn't be added. The titan is one of the strongest weapons in the game and is balanced by the carrier having to explicitly engage it in most scenarios.

    Also:

    > Shoot at medic ground unit in rebel

    > Wait for him to fly off

    > Kill his heli lul

If a player's personal aerial vehicle is stolen they may titan it without an engagement text.

It does feel kinda weird to have to engage someone taking your own vehicle when in this situation, but I don't think it should be added for the same reason as above.

  2. Chapter XIII - APD Equipment & Ground Vehicles

    1. APD Tools
      1. Grenades/Throwables are to be used only in tactical situations following proper engagement.
      2. Spike strips may be used on vehicles you are engaged with.
      3. The SDAR may be used without SGT approval if a suspect is in the water, or they are in an inaccessible area. (Unreachable roofs)
        1. Otherwise, Sergeants must approve. Do not carry one in a backpack unless conducting a boat patrol.
          1. Exception: Sergeants+ may carry an SDAR in their backpack.
        2. The SDAR is also the only APD approved weapon to be utilized within the "Kavala Roleplay Zone"
      4. Do not use gear not available to your rank in the APD Weapon, Clothing or Item shops.
      5. Do not use vehicles not available at your rank unless authorized by an officer with access to that vehicle
      6. Bait Appliances may only be used on vehicles owned by an APD member.
      7. Civilians will only be pardoned for being blindfolded if they inform the officer they are blindfolded and the officer chooses to ignore them.
    2. Vehicles
      1. Police vehicles must be secured or impounded, and are not to be left out
      2. Do not impound a vehicle before the situation is clear.
      3. Armored APD vehicles being utilized within the "Kavala Roleplay Zone" must be driven backwards.

  3. Chapter 13: Red / Illegal Zone / Rebel Outposts

    1. Red zones are KOS, no RP is required by Civilians. Gas Stations are never redzones. (Exception: Killing a player in restraints inside of a red zone is still considered Fail RP).
    2. APD may patrol red zones excluding Rebel outposts every 15 minutes
    3. For APD and Rebel Outposts refer to the APD Handbook
    4. VDM/NLR are still enforced in red zones.
    5. Medics may only be killed inside an illegal zone if the following criteria is met, a Medic must be warned to leave the area through either an EMS text, Direct Chat, or Warning Shots before a Medic is killed. 5 seconds must be given to give the Medic enough time to leave the area. If the Medic abides by the warning and tries to leave the area then you cannot continue shooting at the Medic.
    6. The Warzone is a very large illegal/redzone that follows Cartel rules for all factions.
    7. The Kavala Roleplay Zone is a very large illegal area/redzone where all non-roleplayers are KOS
      1. Note: Walking defibrillators (medics) are roleplayers, and not KOS in the Kavala Roleplay Zone

    Chapter 11: New Life Rule

    1. If you die for any reason apart from dying by a Arma bug you may not return to that area for 15 minutes. (1 Kilometer from where you died)
      1. Exception: When killed on the Warzone Island or at any cartel NLR will not apply.
      2. Exception: When lethaled by cops at Rebel Outposts, NLR does NOT apply.
      3. Exception: When killed in or around the Kavala Roleplay Zone, NLR does not apply
    2. APD may return to legal areas after death as they see fit. (This is to simulate the size of an actual police force)
    3. If APD die in an illegal area they are to return in waves. (Described more in detail in the APD Master Handbook)
      1. Exception: Bank events are exempt from wave rule.
    4. R&R must wait 15 minutes to return to an area if killed by not following directives. (Within reason, more details in R&R Master Handbook)
