Sigh. Honestly? Olympus is not going down because some gang left. Why don't we just drop the subject already. Does it matter if they left? Other, better gangs will come. If they left in the first place, means we didn't needed them.

We don't want the gangs to leave the server. Keep things interesting. How about mixing it up a little bit? Instead of just sending text messages to invite APD to a death match, why not role play it more, hostage situations among other things, yeah?

True, I'm guessing it's just part of the game. I think gangs keep the server alive. Maybe they can tone it down a bit but I like the gangs who stir things up a bit from time to time.

Makes sense. I have heard many a people talk smack to each other and being serious about it while doing RP. Men to men. I mean... I do not favor sexual harassment or racist things of that sort but I think we should thread lightly on this subject as putting up an extremely strict rule that would be up to interpretation by the admins and/or APD's will more than likely drive many people away, even the ones not involved in the particular toxic actions themselves. Just my 2 cents.

Ladyicarus, I have not been a witness to what you are saying but I definitely agree with you on the part that this is wrong. But saying that the staff is "okay" with this type of behavior is not correct. The staff have positively replied to your comments and are willing to do something about it provided the evidence requested. There are going to be some people on the game that are going to be like this, and I myself have been witness to this while playing in other gaming communities ( i.e xbox/playstation ). This should not be new to you. I am not saying you should accept it. I am just saying that you will run into this issues anywhere else you go, what changes is whether the people that staff that gaming community are willing to do something about this situation or not. In this case, I think it is pretty clear that the staff here know what to do regarding this. I for one would definitely react towards this in a law abiding way while playing as APD. So, with that said. Admins and moderators... as APD, are we just to abide by the handbook and sever rules when witnessing this situation? Can you give us specific instructions as to what to do in this situations? ( aside from obviously trying to take care of the situation by talking down on the perpetrators ). Let us know and I know me and many other APD members are more than willing to help in cases of harassment and/or rape threats on the server. Honestly? it is only a game but I know what you are going through and we are more than willing to help you and any other female gamer playing on our server.

It was happening to me yesterday too. What I did was "verify game cache" on Arma 3 and boom you fixed it. Worked for me. Try it.

Alright, he might or might not be the required age. But I have played with him and he knows what he's doing. He leads the teams and frankly a good role model for going up the ranks of the APD at Olympus.

Maybe it's because they are good at what they do? And probably have a lot more time to play than us 30 year old people that work 40 hours a week....

I think most has already been said. It's just a matter if it can or cannot be done. An admin will be here soon I'm sure of that, to shed light on the situation for all of Olympus.

Good point Thomas. There is a large base of loyal players here than are more than willing to stay and keep this community afloat. Yes I would want maybe some new features thrown here and there but I feel it's about the people here, I get online almost everyday for at least 1 hour a day and I enjoy playing with these loyal players, I just think if we were to move to another server it would not be the same...At least I am not planning to any time soon....

Although a nice touch to your topic of trying to make Olympus "better", hopefully this won't be seen by the admins as some sort of advertisement for Asylum severs. As I'm sure our admins know what is going on in other major servers. Don't get me wrong those aren't bad things at all, as I am not biased. We shall see what this "little" post might do to our community... hopefully it won't get loyal players to leave... but the not so loyal... I don't know....
