CS:GO Ping Issue

I have this problem where I get like 60 ping and Ill lag everywhere like I have 600 ping and sometimes I do have 600 ping. Im on WiFi and I cannot get Ethernet so thats not a option and its extremely unplayable. I did alot to try and fix this but nothing works and I have done speedtest while it does it and I have fine internet. Its a CS:GO Problem and its not the servers either.

I know exactly what your talking about and i've had it before. It sucks but I had to completely restart my computer for it to fix which doesn't always go well when you're in competitive...

Play on East Coast servers, Max your ping at 150... idk

Its not that I had this problem for like a year now and I reset my pc before

I highly suggest you use this technique in-game. Whilst mid-game you feel this thing you feel like your lagging. Simple fix! 

Press ESC

Press down Alt+F4

And you should see a noticeable difference! Give this comment a like if it worked!

Do you have xfinity?

 

If so I used to have an issue with their shitty modem/router all-in-one device, my ping would spike randomly in CS:GO and other games, only fix is to use an Ethernet cable, or buy your own router and modem, once I got my own modem and router the WiFi worked smoothly, but a wired connection is better 99% of the time, so good luck mate.

No but I just remembered I got a new modem so Ill try again today thanks

Yeah in arma 3 restraints lag me so I do that

When this happens to me i flip the switch i have on my Ethernet cord to reset the cord... Works great in arma too! whenever you have high ping just give that switch a little flip and poof! no high ping anymore!
