CPU Overclocking Issue

Recommended Posts

This morning I overclocked my CPU. Overtime now I have been slowly overclocking my CPU up to 4.0 GHz from the stock 3.5. I was going from 3.9 GHz to 4.0 but when I saved the overclocking profile and saved and reset in my bios. It now says my CPU is at 3.5 GHz instead of 4.0GHz. Even though that in my BIOS it says my multiplier is 40 (4.0 GHz) and it supposed to be at 4.0 Ghz. Any advice? Haven't found anything on how to fix it yet.
