Turtle poaching? Underwater excavation?

Does anyone know why I can't do either? I have the sdar im in the turtle poaching area and I cant find any turtles. When I tried to excavate the tool broke and I had to respawn myself. Used to play this 5 years ago on a different server and back then you just found turtles and shot them with the sdar...??

Also my windows key simply refuses to work underwater. So even when I see one I can't do a thing about it..

You need to open your y menu, there is a settings option, you need to enable ambient effects.

Also: Yes, you just shoot turtles and then windows key on them.
