Frato 832
Recently my game has been freezing and stuttering like crazy. I tried installing the game on my hdd and it fixed the problem, but then my game runs like ass. When my game freezes the texture bug thing comes up and fixes it, however it goes back to freezing in like a minute. This happens on all servers I'm pretty sure it's a memory leak does anyone have any fixes for this. I've already tried updating drivers, validating game files, installing drivers, disabling launch options, disabling mods and shadowplay. On rdm project if I do shift + - on numpad then type flush it fixes it for a bit please someone help I'm struggling here https://gyazo.com/793b5a96c8a295e397645ea5a2d2bdd1 https://gyazo.com/c10f1dc2dc62f2a90a49743abdee4cc0 https://gyazo.com/e253227dd3086d993fdeb4a6d0a78965 The shadowplay disabling is me gyazoing the clip Edited December 23, 2023 by Frato Quote Link to comment

Lead Developer Fraali 1429 Posted December 23, 2023 Lead Developer Report Share Posted December 23, 2023 Generally the texture bug is due to running out of VRAM/RAM. I've confirmed that Arma DOES have a memory leak, and the only thing that I've found that "fixes" it temporarily is restarting the computer. The fact that it happens only on a single hard drive, I have bad news for you - Your hard drive might be failing. I would suggest getting a different SSD or similar, or at the very least backup all the data on the drive you're having issues with. Obviously there are things you can do to "help" SSD failure, but in the end it will probably fail. (This is with me only going off of what you've said, it could be any number of things) If you don't want to spend the money, search up on how to test the life of your hard drive, or find a good friend that is good with that kind of thing. 2 Quote Link to comment

Millennium 5800
Turn off texture bugs. Or the detections of them, whetever its called. just hit like f5 or f6 when u log in, that helped me a lot with frame lag back in the day. Quote Link to comment

I tried every memory allocator and limiting my ram and vram and nothing worked. Gonna try updating to windows 11 to see how it goes. Quote Link to comment
Arch Finwith 0
You can always download more RAM (For legal reasons this is a joke) Quote Link to comment
