400M Olympus Geoguessr Giveaway Monday Night 5/26 9PM EST

Hello Everyone,

I am leaving for a while and wanted to run some giveaways with the money I have accumulated during my time playing oly.

This first tournament will have a 400 Million Dollar Prize pool sponsored entirely by yours truly.

Everyone is welcome, whether you have played geoguessr before or are brand new, all skill levels are welcome to give it their best shot.

There is no buy-in, I just ask that everyone is respectful of the rules of the game and knows how to connect to the oly ts / knows how to follow basic instructions.

Rules:
No Googling
No 3rd Party Software / cheating
No receiving Information from other players
If you win 2 rounds of one map, you are unable to win a 3rd
If you win 3 rounds total, you are unable to win a 4th until the map Terminus
 

The second portion of the event will be a single elimination team duels tournament with seedings coming from your answers in the survey and the results from the first gamemode.

Teams will be randomized based on results from Winner Takes All

Moving, 15 Second timer after first guess, 15k initial health, .5x multiplier increase

I believe this is the biggest giveaway in oly history btw Should be the first of a few before I leave.

This is going to be a sort of trial period run as I have yet to run a tournament.

The tournament will be run by me, jig, and chrisgg with smitherz as backup

Cheating in this tournament will result in immediate expulsion/possible consequences on oly.

You may be asked to screenrecord or stream in discord if you are found to have suspicious guesses. If you are unable to provide the screenrecording from a round, you may be removed from said game.

The 3 hosts all have fairly extensive experience and it is incredibly easy to see if someone is cheating so just please dont make it an issue.

I believe they still have a free mode for a bit but most of the game is now pay to play due to how the google api is set up.

However if one player has pro mode then everyone else is able to play in their party without having to pay.

So the round one took a bit too long.

The tournament is going to be held next weekend and available for all players.

Teams are going to be required to signup on this google form BEFORE The tournament begins.

Please Sign Up with at least 2 members, up to 4. Playing Solo will not be allowed.

This is going to be given out 200M+ again and everyone has a chance to win big. The good/pro players will be on a separate hosting team that will not compete for money but will play in a large 4 v 20+ after the games are over for a chance to win big.
