I'm still putting off upgrading to Windows 10, mostly because of "if it isn't broken don't fix it", but I'm curious:

Windows 10 when I installed it really fucked up my pc and most of my games both, then I promptly uninstalled it and back at Win 8

Any more details?  Driver issues?  I've read that upgrading from 8 is a no-brainer and it's the 7 vs 10 decision that is closer to a wash right now.

Difference between UPGRADING and FRESH INSTALLING Windows 10.

 

UPGRADING gave me driver issues. Had to reinstall GPU drivers and also had some strange issues with file paths. Some drivers just failed to install no matter what I did.

 

FRESH INSTALLED Windows 10, and no issues. Less background, good UI, no complaints.

I can make a long list, but long-story-short, your video resolution will be fucked up (unless you like the max at 1024 x 600), your pc keeps crashing, and games wont launch.

OK so I pulled the trigger, upgraded from 7 to 10, and so far so good.  Biggest noticeable difference is that 10 seems less wonky when atl-tabbing.
