Well I reset my pc and my CPU is running at normal speed now but my HDD is being odd still but not as bad I guess. Haven't downloaded arma yet so ill update when I try to run it.

I did before helped for a day and then it got bad again

I had many problems lately. headset is broken and my pc has been being garbage again. I can go in to 1600x900 res on all low settings with no vsync and I'll get 15 frames and stuttering drops. I used to get like 80 Frames constant. People with worse Pc's than me get way better frames. Specs are 8 GB Ram, Intel i5 4690K Cpu and NVIDIA 760 2GB VRAM GPU. 1.8 TB HDD.(Windows 10) Can't afford new stuff. I am resetting my pc and reinstalling Windows as I type this. My disk usage does jump up to 100 a lot and that might be it but I litterally tried everything to fix it. every tutorial. I tested it several times and it said it wasn't damaged or anything. I defragged it. nothing seems to work. I'll update this if the reset of my pc helped. Majestic come to the rescue. my cpu is also running oddly low speed again while running arma and playing it too. drops down to 0.8 sometimes and temperature shouldn't be the issue because I checked the temperature and it shouldn't be high enough to lower speeds or high enough to damage cpu. and don't comment get a ssd cause I cannot afford it and I won't be getting it anytime soon. help if you can <3

Its only when I play arma. So youtube tutorials of how to fix it is now non existent cause I did them and none fixed this one. I put my power settings to "High Performance" and got instant results and no drops except when I get in gunfights I either get little or massive drops. So I was happy until I noticed it didn't fix my dick usage. Buying a SSD won't fix my problem since others have said it doesn't fix. I reinstalled arma. Disabled Super fetch and other Services. Did stuff in the Registry. I did virus scans. Deleted junk folders. Most will say buy a new PC but I didn't have these problems before. I know everyone drops frames but there Disk isn't always 100% used. I can do this option where I disable windows paging or something but I only have 8 gigs of ram so my programs will crash from left to right. I can't win gunfights with these drops and I feel so potato aim cause I lag so much because of this. My HDD is like 1.80 TB. If you need more information about my PC than ask me and If you know a fix than tell me. Thank you. GET EXTREME AMOUNT OF LAG WHEN I KILL SOMEONE CQC OR IF WE BOTH SHOOT. OR JUST THEY SHOOT!

just arma. and i been tweaking settings up the drops/stuttering doesnt fix

mainly ultra but when i put them to lower it doesnt chage really. I get like 40-60 fps but the drops and stuttering is bad. Get on olympus ts and help?
