Mass recruiting is a terrible way of reviving gang life. It makes 2 big gangs usually who die after a month. It’s not ab short sperts of fights, it’s ab making gangs reputable and meaning something more than a big group. I’d rather be in a gang (plague) with not many ppl and be close with everyone. Makes it 10x better. I’m talking ab OG plague where it was hard to get accepted for trial. I was accepted bc of a fluke of a play where I shot someone out of the front of a frit lmao

This is true, but any deputy will leave a fed for a senior to log on (being told to or not). At the end of the day, what deputy is going to take a seniors slot during lethal waves?

TI lowkey is irrelevant now. Half of new cartel fighters have no idea who TI even is. ALSO people play under “TI” so you guys getting bad rep anyways as we speak.

I think we should implement the idea regardless of the unban or not. This would change the whole idea of a gang making it actually a big deal to get into a good gang considering other ppl would get kicked

Many people do use notifiers, but you can’t force someone to stay on a server hoping for a fed. I’d say like no more than 15 apd for a fed event honestly no matter what ranks, but this also would bring in the issue of cpl+ asking deputy’s to log off since deputy’s are lowkey useless in feds tbh

Capping size of gangs would make it more meaningful to join a gang as well.

Cheating and Hacking are 2 different things. Hacking : ESP, Aimbot, Silent Aim, God Mode, Spawning Money, etc. Cheating : Exploiting, Scripting, Lag-Switching, etc. Just to clarify

I can vouche that if @ApacheWarrior is unbanned and some other key cartel fighters banned for something other than DDoS and Hacking AKA PBO, Aimbot, etc. the server FROM A CARTEL ASPECT will pop off. 100% we have a high pop and its dope, but there if a difference between being populated and having fun and being populated with everyone farming runs all day.

Yeah DDoSing is a federal offense soooooo they are shit out of luck. But people who are banned for other things deserve a 2nd chance is all i am saying.

100% true. DDoSers should not be let back in tbh. BUT like i said using scripts (pulldowns), lag switching, and exploiting should not be looked at from the same point of view as loading up a PBO and nuking a server. I get it, it obviously is very scummy that they did this matter, but I believe that if we give them 1 chance and if they mess up again they are RFC then it could possibly work.

With the recent efforts of Asylum doing an "unbanathon" many people in the community have said cartels are completely dead. I myself haven't experienced this, but many people have complained about this matter recently. Obviously, Olympus is not all about cartels, but it is not a secret that it plays a big role in our servers and the player base as a whole. The only reason so many people are going to asylum is for fights and to play with their friends who are banned here on Olympus. It is certain that if we were to do the same "unbanathon" we would have very high pop from a cartel aspect. I have 2 propositions for the Olympus community that in my opinion will "bring back gang life". 1. Take it upon yourself and split up from the gang you are in that has over 20 members who all fight cartels and complain there are no fights. 2. Do the "unbanathon" here on olympus but not EVERYONE (hackers and DDoSers obviously). Only unban people banned for exploiting,scripting,lag-switch etc. I know this is a very iffy thing to do but if we issue the unban for these people, you make it clear that if they get banned for the same thing (scripting, exploiting, etc.) then they are going to be instantly removed from the community no questions asked. DISCLAIMER : I do not want this to turn into a shit post, i genuinely think this is a good idea. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, especially in a video game.

Not everything is about cartels lmao this is coming from someone with triple the hours on cap than you. Just stop while you are somewhat ahead (not really) or you can keep digging an even deeper hole for yourself, ALSO not every fighter from Asylum is a GOD. So stop saying that as well. Let them boys go over to asylum and DOX each other for forum rep. All this is is nostalgic for the “OG” players from asylum. Then they’ll remember how scuffed the server actually is and come running back.
