Cops need to have PC to contact you. If you commit a crime, mess around in illegal areas, or a cop sees you driving and you're wanted they can stop you. If cops are not following those guide lines then simply report them. If your legally stopped and you have a huge bounty it likely means you have committed a lot of crimes. Most of the crimes you commit are against other civs, which adversely effects them. Cops exist to deter crime. If you get caught and processed you are being punished. Cops shouldn't be influenced or care about your story unless your actually providing an accurate story or proof that exonerates you of a crime.

How do you expect a cop to RP after a pursuit or fire fight? Just curious as to what you consider RP? Think about what your asking. Your asking for it to be more difficult for cops to identify you. Its already difficult enough to catch someone that does not want to get caught, and does not troll the police. Part of the fun of the game is the risk of getting caught and the thrill of the chase. If people would simply game the way it was meant to be played theywould have a blast. You win some and you lose some. Thats a part of the spirit of the game, and thats also life. At the end of the day you decide what kind of RP your going to get from Arma 3. If its unbearable for you stop committing crimes and do legal stuff. APD generally dont mess with people that are not wanted.

Example of good RP. Cop pulls you over for speeding and you actually stop without immediately opening fire. You talk, get a few tickets, and are released. Or, it is discovered that you have warrants and you get arrested and transported for booking. Shit RP. Cop attempts to stop culprit and culprit runs every single time. When caught the culprit bitches up a storm, or comes up with worlds longest, dumbest story, Then, goes ham when cop issues ticket for full amount because the culprit did not cooperate and provided no real account to even consider reducing charges. RP goes both ways. gotta give good RP to get good RP.

If you see medics hanging out with their gang, or being bias, let a coordinator know and we will nip that in the butt immediately. Also, if a medic is running past you and ignoring you and you have not been officially denied services for something legit report it to Odin, Theseus, Tman, or myself. If there are multiple medics on, see if you can get the attention of a different medic to come and get you. As was stated, some medics are good, others, not so much.

Because R&R is awesome! Sorry you didnt get a res man. If he ran right past you he was in the wrong and I have nothing to say. I will have a word with that particular medic. I am all for bringing stuff up in the forums. Though, unless this happens often, it seems harsh to make a post saying WTF is wrong with medic(s) because of one bad experience. Just sayin.

Why would you come on the fourms to bash medics? Your comments while in game did not go unnoticed. Comments such as those can get your services denied. Tman was patrolling near Athira. I was flying all over the map getting people. The medic in Kavala was detained by a rogue cop and couldnt move. We try our best to get everyone as quickly as we can. Anyone that knows me knows that I do not play favorites with anyone. Insinuating that I do is insulting. Also, complaining on the server and then bringing it on the forums is not a cool move either. I thought better of you Papamunski. Im a little disappointed.

I love how RP equals giving people breaks... Its indeed an RP server, yet, all everyone does is commit crimes and kill. If you want RP stop robbing or killing everything you see! Also, dont expect a break for committing crimes. APD are RPing playing cops. Why the hell would they RP with you or give you a break for robbing, killing, and having illegal weapons. You cant be serious. Personally, there should not be much RP with processing. Just process and move on to contact civs, make traffic stops, and actually initiate RP. Thats freeking RP, not bitching or coming up with some stupid story to keep your gear or get a half ticket once caught. Christ... I enjoy playing cop, up until the point of processing people because its so freaking toxic.

Just know that the next update is going to be good to the medics. Also, medics will likely never have access to weapons. It completely defeats the purpose of the roll. We would be just like any other civ with the exception of having the ability to revive. Medics would get destroyed since we are in all yellow and people know when we are going to respond. We also are generally alone. So no to weapons. There are also reasons medics are not allowed to respond to rebel and warzone. Sooo, number one, those areas are intended to be high risk areas. Allowing medics to respond negates some of that risk. The same goes for warzone. However, there are always ways around this. If you are able to take a medic hostage you can take them into the warzone, or rebel outpost, and utilize their services. For those naysayers that will reply by saying we wont respond when you attempt to trick us I will say your right, which means you need to try to be more tactful and not so straight forward with what your doing. I throw people a bone, or give them the benefit of the doubt, if they actually try and do something clever to catch me. Anyways. Again we are trying to come up with some good stuff to entice people to play medic. Here is a list of a few good things about medic. Fleet: Ground- Quad, hatch, off-road, ambulance(box truck), and hemmit. Air - M900, Orca, and Mohawk Water - Dive suit and speedboat. Something new with the upcoming update! Gear will stay with the medic, as it does with APD, when you die, which means no more needing to store or re-gear upon initial re-spawn or when you die. Hugh time saver and way more convenient. -Recent addition of impound yards that allow medics to impound abandon vehicles for cash. -Newly revamped uniforms and vehicle skins. -Amnesty from robbery or theft of vehicles. -If active, you can become a heavy responder, and have access to the M900, within 3 weeks. Also, again, things are under consideration to further spice up the roll, but there is nothing to confirm at this time.

Really... As Tman said, go patrol. R&R only needs one spot in Kavala because medics shouldn't be gathering or loitering there. Especially if you are not a heavy responder.

If I had to assume I would say the things that Poseidon is doing could probably be applied on any map given a few tweaks? Not positive on that though. As far as the new map. From what I understand it is still moving forward. Its just a little slower now that Warfare stepped down. Personally, I think its somewhat redundant that Olympus runs two of the same maps. An alternative, which may have already been considered, would be to run the Australia map on one server and the remake on another. Give people some selection. When they get sick of one they can switch to the other. It would be a shame to just completely ditch Altis. But to be able to play a map like Stralia on Olympus, with mods, would be insane! I also doubt anything would change, as far as applications and white-listed spots, if Olympus started using modded servers. Why would it need to? It would simply be a new map, or an addition to what already exists. Dont be afraid of change, embrace it!
