Well since TOAD wanted an answer and he got it and it seems others are jumping on the flame wagon I'll go ahead and locked this one up.

To me I would consider this failed RP on the APD side. While we don't want APD to just give things out when they negotiate it needs to be within reason. A hostage for a hat or pants is not within reason imo. Now that doesn't mean they need to counter off with say giving you a loaded up strider but in most cases there should be a middle ground that the parties can meet. The whole reason for hostages is to engage RP and for everyone to walk away feeling like they got something out of it.

LOL, the only ones that make it that long are the dedicated ones. Most community servers are wiped at least monthly in that game due to how easy it is to amass items. I used to run a rust server and it was much harder to get items but ppl got so used to getting stuff quickly that it only had a small base. When it was big I was able to go almost 4 months before I did a wipe and that was only because of an update that broke the game with the mods I was using.

Sounds like the APD was in the right while the "Gang" members shooting from the DP were in the wrong. They need to be within the redzone to shoot with no RP. APD were within the redzone, finishing up, when they took shots from players outside the redzone, if I'm understanding correctly what your saying. If this is the case then the gang members just RDM'd.

I think the problem here is TOAD you started off by making a general statement saying APD is basically all crap. By doing this you are going to offend anyone APD wise. On another note APD should still be RP'n the situation. IF they attempted to negotiate with you and it fell through both parties should have a good idea it didn't work and expect something to come out of it. I wasn't there so I can't say what exactly happen. In the future just make sure to have OBS setup in-case something doesn't go right, submit a ticket and if they broke the rules they will be dealt with. You can go on and on on the forums but it won't change anything if we don't see anything to back it up. People complain about the APD all the time and to be honest many times the APD didn't do anything wrong but we can't just ban em or remove them without knowing and seeing the situation fully. You know me and you know if I see something being done wrong I'll do something about it. On the flip side if you simply got outplayed then take it was a grain of salt. It may not have gone how you wanted and not every encounter will. Learn from it and move on to the next. Figure out what didn't work this time and use it against them the next time around. Keep in mind not every APD member is bad. Yes there are a few bad apples and when found they are dealt with. IF the APD members honestly did something wrong you could also after-hand in a calm rational manner take it to them and see if they understand your point of view as to why they shouldn't have done what they did. Sometimes being calm or crazy like is the different between getting an answer and being left high and dry.

If done it will basically be what can be purchased from other places but in a central spot. So instead of going out to the rebel outpost or Gang hideout you will be able to do it from the "Cartel" area. Now again nothing is set in stone but just giving you an idea of what the items will be.

The housing is under construction persay atm. Our dev is rewriting the code to hopefully fix alot of the small glitches with houses.For those that haven't received a reply this is why. It isn't we don't care its just extremely hard to fix housing atm and so we are waiting on the fixes to be put in place first. We are trying to get players to get on the Dev server to test things out but with such few numbers it will take longer. As for the ticket not being seen, Moderators only have access to so much. I myself am the only one other then Poseidon to have access to other parts such as housing info. Submit a proper ban appeal and the staff who issued the ban will reply to the ticket.

I use a naga to play any of my games. It's pretty straight forward to setting it up. The biggest thing is making sure you have the Razer Synapse software installed so you can setup your keybinds. I personally haven't changed my keybinds on Arma since there really hasn't been a need to. The only thing I have changed is one of my middle mouse buttons is used for the in-game chat. Other then that you can just go into your Arma config and set the buttons up to your liking. As for the sound issue the only thing I could think of is if you installed the Razer Surround application. It could be causing issues but the nage itself shouldn't be doing anything regarding sound unless u have a keybind that does a mute.

It was made very clear while there was 4 staff in the room. Don't tell me it wasn't said. If he did something that he shouldn't have then JUST LIKE EVERY other person submit a ticket. Stop thinking your above the rules, guidelines or anything else.

Now let me make this very clear to you as well Snake. You were a Mod, broke numerous rules such as RDM, you were removed as a Mod and demoted from the APD. You were given a chance to redeem yourself, which no other person has been given the chance to do. You were allowed to reapply as a Mod and guess what we were actually going to allow you to become a Mod once again. What happens but you yet again break server rules and turn into a complete jerk because you got power happy as an APD member. You handed your APD dutied off to other members and refuses to go by the guidelines setup for all APD members. Yet again you were given a chance to redeem yourself. You began to shape up and what do you know but you go and pull the same old shit once again. You in front of 4-5 CIvs and about 4 APD member disrespect Kratos, ur commanding officer and then try to play it off like it was nothing. I then step in, send you warnings and with no regard continue to cause issues. At that point I removed you APD tag on TS. You again are given another chance and brought back up to rank the very next day. From this point on you think you can do whatever you want whether it being a asshat to players, lower ranks or even higher ranks. You disrespect people and think nothing will be done. You blatantly break server rules and think it is ok to do. All the staff have given you multiple chances, far more then any player has ever been given on the server and yet you continue to be a prick about things. The last straw is as a LT going up to another APD member and shooting them down because you didn't like what he was doing. You did this once again in front of roughly 4-5 APD members and 4-5 Civs. Once again a ban is not given to you unlike what any other player would have been given. I do hope that you understand with the amount of rules you have broken in the past any other player would have already been permanantly banned from our servers. We had a soft spot for you and of course gave you chance after chance in the hopes you would adjust and learn that the rules are in place for everyone. In the end you did not learn or you simply didn't give a shit. Well the point has come where all the staff have said enough is enough. We have no more chances left for you. This situation that you are trying to explain started with you being a complete dipshit to another player. You made a couple videos, which by itself is fine, but then made the choice to post them on the forums and start problems. You then got into a heated discussion with the player on a TS after we made it very clear that you both needed to let the matter go and that if we heard of any further issues regarding it perms would be issued. Well seems you once again didn't grasp the fact of this and so in the end a perm has been issued. Maybe you will finally grow up and understand that people are only willing to take so much before they say enough is enough. You are a very immature child and the things you have done in the past on our servers have cause numerous issues with players. Now once again keep in mind no other player has ever been able to get away with the amount of crap that you have. You have RDM'd, VDM'd, disrespected, basically slapped the staff and community in the face as well as having no regard to our rules. I am for one happy you will no longer be a part of this community. Maybe now the player base will feel that whoever replaces you in the APD will actually do what there suppose to. If you must fill out a report regarding a matter then use the following information to do so. Player Reports To correctly place a player report follow the below. Click "Support" in the bar at the top Click on "New Request" on the right hand side then choose "Player Report" in the department. Fill in all info regarding the incident. Be sure to include any proof such as links to screenshots or videos regarding the situation. Keep in mind that almost all videos require at least 5 minutes showing the whole situation When reporting cases of RDM to the ticket system, the video submitted needs to show the location of the RDM (When the area your in is not obvious). This allows us to easily know if you were within a KOS area or not. Doing this is as simple as having your GPS map open (Right Ctrl+M) If we are unsure of the area we may not process the ticket Combat Logging requires at least screenshot showing at least the player being downed, Restrain'd and DC'n within the default chat log window Compensation Request To correctly place a compensation request follow the below. Click "Support" in the bar at the top Click on "New Request" on the right hand side then choose "Compensation Request" in the department. Fill in all info regarding the incident. Be sure to include any proof such as links to screenshots or videos regarding the situation. Be as detailed as you can about why you are requesting comp. Staff will determine the appropriate compensation. Math is not needed on your end. If your request contains evidence used in a player report, be sure to reference the ticket number of the player report. Bug Reports To correctly place a bug report follow the below. Click "Support" in the bar at the top Click on "New Request" on the right hand side then choose "Bug Report" in the department. Fill in all info regarding the incident. Be sure to include any proof such as links to screenshots or videos regarding the situation. Be as detailed as you can about what the bug is and how to reproduce it if possible Developers will look at each report and determine if it needs a fix. Staff Reports If you feel a staff member is overstepping there bounds regarding rules or breaking rules then you may send the Head Admin a PM here on the website. Be sure to include all information such as Server, date, Time, Videos, ect Bear in mind they will review the situation and talk to the staff after-hand if it warrants doing so. If you send messages about a staff breaking rules and they haven't and you continue to do so then they will simply block further communications so make sure what you are accusing a staff member of doing has actually been done. Ban Appeals An appeal must be made within a week of the ban being issued. To appeal a ban click the "Support" link in the top bar Next click on "New Request" on the right side then choose "Ban Appeal" in the department. Fill in all the proper info and then click submit. The staff who issued the ban will respond to the ticket. Do not send messages to staff on regarding the ban until after the appeal has been looked at and replied to. If you do not agree with the staff members choice after they have left a reply you may request a more senior staff member to look at the matter.

They are allowed to respawn if the HQ has not been taken over. The rules regarding HQ takeovers are listed in the server rules. The APD member should still announce himself though before firing since he was killed just as you need to re-engage RP with him.

APD NLR is different then Civ NLR. It is done this way to simulate police backup. Now with that said Gas station robberies are not considered red zones and as such APD are not required to return in waves. If it is the jail, Fed or a marked red zone then the wave rules are in effect.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let ya know that I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Still a bit sick but have been hoping on trying to get caught back up. You should start to see me a bit more again but it may still be a bit slow as I'm still sick. I have started to go through some of my tickets that have been sitting so if you have had one sitting for a bit bear with me while I try to get them caught back up. There currently is no way to remove just the voice part from sidechat. If it is disabled it is fully disabled. This is why we have not removed side chat.

Soul, I will put this gently, you have yet to submit a ticket regarding a player report. If you don't do your end of things then there is no way in hell we can do ours. Yes we want more staff but we are selective. At the same time we do have enough to take care of tickets that get submitted. If you don't feel like taking the time to submit a ticket then frankly I don't have time to listen to the complaining.
