There are 2 'staff members' in Aegis that have the ability to ban/compensate/whatever and it's me and @ Masonn , neither of us commented on the ticket or on the subsequent compensation requests. Your statement makes it seem like we attempted to convince Marcus/Gary to unban and refuse the comp which isn't true. That’s exactly what I said man. Read it again. Unless you are talking to Sovereign. -
There are at the most about 3 staff members in Aegis and I may be off who knows out of the 16 or so of us in total. Ain’t nobody convincing anyone to let this slide.

As notsodank mentioned, it was discussed with multiple staff members. I personally don’t care who it is I treat everyone the same. No preferential treatment here from me. I assure you the decision made was discussed and multiple staff members shared their input.

I get the frustration. I hate it when players DPI on me as well. Hear me out, compensation does not get you out of a ticket… (With all due respect) I can give two shits if the player is playing with another staff member and if he said on the dispute that he was “untouchable” because he was playing with a staff member, tough luck. But in this particular case, this player had no prior bans similar in nature. Yes he might have done it twice on your video, but because it did not change the outcome of the situation, (since you weren’t fighting with him), then I let it slide because he compensated you. If he would’ve had a history of DPI / RDM bans etc, I wouldn't have been lenient and would have issued the ban. Trust me. I usted to hang around in game with the name “If you DPI you ain’t good”. I hate it. If there is anything I missed, I’d be happy to review again or if you have any questions let me know. Nothing irks me more than being called biased when all I want is everyone to be on a level playing field. No matter who you are.

I can attest to Ageis scrapping fetish. About a month ago they tried for like 30 minutes to chop my hunter which pissed me off so much lol. I take it personal. You know what baffles me? Every time someone gets banned for a fuckup on their end, it’s immediately followed up by a forum post talking about how shit the server is. I guess if you don’t care about the server then why even bother with this “ god awful shit community “ and posting all of these cries? Come on guys. If you don’t like it here anymore, go fuck about on another server. Yes things aren’t perfect and staff aren’t perfect but fuck me do people work hard around here for the absolute monetary amount of zero. Have a great day!

In order to keep a healthy balance between “administrative duties” and playing the game, we have certain in game perks that help. Remember, we don’t get paid to do this. We try our best to make sure you guys have a good time in game. But why can’t we as well? Even when I’m just playing the game, I am always responding to Staff requests from players, it’s what we signed up for. And those perks that we have are useful tools that we need in order to properly “manage” the community. When we are playing the game as everyone else we don’t have god mode on or Staff ESP. There is a reason why you can see when we turn on staff ESP. But if you have any evidence of abuse, feel free to submit that to our senior admins for proper review.

Doesn’t matter if I know or if I don’t know how to do it. I know how to identify it Remember though, you guys can DPI all you want as long as it doesn’t change the outcome of a situation. If you are just messing around and not in an active firefight then it’s no worries.

Come on man. Turning DPI to 100000000 and flicking your mouse like a crazy person doesn’t sound like an accident

It’s an unfair advantage to the player with a shitty old mouse that doesn’t know how to do it. If you are good enough at the game, you shouldn’t have to DPi jump. Can’t pretend to be good if you have to DPI yourself out of a situation.
