Best to bear in mind that although local will have some markup, a reputable dealer will not be much, and usually invariably cheaper than online ordering with its inherent markup due to payment processors and delivery (even for small quantities it’s very expensive due to insurance concerns). Local dealers will be rely on their name as brand and will usually bend over backwards to not have their name tarnished esp. for such a small quantity or value of gold (not to bring your investment down, but you must consider how much money they’ll handle daily in gold and silver)

I prefer gold or platinum also because I honestly like to hold it and stack it up like some medieval king and silver may eventually tarnish from doing that, reducing its value a touch, and making it harder to get the same value out of it iykwim
