cFeor 15
This new update has been out for arma 3 for a few days now and I want to check it out to see if I will get better performance but I still don't know how to launch in 64-bit. Can someone reply with a short guide? Quote Link to comment
Bow 787
The 64 bit client is in the dev branch from what I understand. So if you do use the dev branch you will be unable to play Olympus unless you use the current branch. 2 Quote Link to comment
Dangus 629
Hasn't been fully released. Like bow said it is in the dev branch, so you can try it I'm pretty sure. You just won't no be able to play on any server that doesn't use the dev branch. It should be out in a month or two. That's usually how long Bohemia takes once they announce that they're working on something. But since this is a pretty major thing, could take longer than that. Quote Link to comment
DeadPool 4376
It will most likely take from 3 months to a year to finish the 64 bit version. But you cant start the 64 bit in dev with Battle Eye so good luck joining a server. Quote Link to comment
Piner 115
The 3GB memory update in 1.66, is that automatic or does it need to be set via launch options? Quote Link to comment
falcon 765
Um, go to your steam library find ArmA 3--right click it go to properties and click on the betas tab then click NONE and find Development, Download the update and open up arma 3's launcher and go to the parameters and it will ask "Default: x32 bit" click that and find x64 bit. after that run arma and boom DISCLAIMER: Can't play any servers because they run on 1.66 version number and the development build is 1.67 Quote Link to comment
