Binding Earplugs etc..

So I am a bit confused or maybe I am just not doing it right. 

 

 

How exactly do I bind the earplugs to the user actions. I have bound a key to number 12 and when in game nothing really happens.

Make sure you bind the correct custom keys. I also noticed I couldn't use a key combo so like CTRL+7. I also don't think you can use the numbers because of the animations. I would suggest binding earplugs to INS (near home, pg up, pg dn, etc.) and use C for redgulls.

yes, make sure the key you use is bound to nothing else also

I have action key 11(numpad 0) and action key 12 (numpad 1)

Make sure you are hitting OK twice after you add it in.  A lot of people hit back and it wont save properly.
