If the rain issues are truly gone and your FPS wouldn't tank, would you rather have rain or a fog ring.

From what i can tell with Gary trying out the rain from time to time, the fps issues have been fixed. (i assume this has to do with the new box from 6 months ago not too sure).

I know a lot of people would honestly vote for Clear weather all the time but I dont think there will be a day where we dont have dynamic weather and a night and day cycle, it is what it is.

Rain is not a server issue. It's a per-client issue.

The decrease of FPS is less noticeable with higher general frame-rate due to how the engine arma runs off of processes effects like rain. This means due to the recent optimization, rain is probably more viable with less noticeable frame rate issues.

This doesn't mean that rain will 100% come back, as people have complained about rain and night for as long as I can remember, and it wasn't just because of frame rate. It was mainly due to the "inconvenience" of having to look harder through rain, or having night vision on when its dark. I will 100% admit it really is terrible looking through NVG's while it's raining though.

The fog is overpowering. Dead ass can't see 1k with it most of the time, and sometimes it gets so bad it starts to block infared.

The other day the fog was so bad you couldn’t see 10 meters in front of you so Gary had to change the weather
