  1. Nope: http://olympus-entertainment.com/topic/3043-3-1-2015-rule-changes/ Section 4.
  2. No Mobundu? Wat?
  3. APD for once was well organized and had like 7 people split into 2 or sometimes 3 groups. We were all over the map following each truck even when they split.
  4. Nice! Can't wait
  5. When I first started playing, you would have a screen pop up stating all the basic rules and expectations EVERY time you logged into the server, with a link to where to go for more info. I'm not sure why that's gone now. I would not be surprised if there was a bunch of people who joined the server, not realizing there were rules like this and got banned shortly after.
  6. The only way I could see this rule being removed is if you driving the vehicle into the ocean resulted in the vehicle being permanently destroyed, like blowing up after 5 minutes. Otherwise it would be way to easy to abuse. Case in point: Grandma Gary is driving his HEMMT along after refining a bunch of iron (Gary doesn't believe in the illegal drug trade). He starts getting chased by 5 rebels. "Oh, I don't mind losing this iron, as long as I don't lose my $200k HEMMT, lets drive it into the ocean. It'll be back in my garage after 10 or 15 minutes," He does, gets killed by the rebels after he comes up for air. All he loses was his gear, which may have been worth only $10K and some time on making the iron, but otherwise, he comes out in front as he got to keep his truck. Rebels on the other hand get pissed because they just lost the opportunity to make some cash off the iron / chopping the truck.
  7. Sir, the speed limit is 80 Kph for a reason. If you were driving the appropriate speed, you would have been able to brake to a complete stop prior to hitting the gate and causing major damage to your tires. If you want to drive at unsafe speeds, don't expect sympathy from others when you put a dent in your car.
  8. Thats probably part of the reason she's using a hammer...
  9. Got a screenshot of it?
  10. Yeah, Kavala is pretty dead now. Too many things have changed to "help" the police. RDMing combat loggers are already decreased because of the skeleton system; making guns much harder to acquire now is making Kavala boring. During a 15 minute city patrol I only saw 2 civilians die, and those were in the same situation. The only people who hang out in Kavala anyway are the ones looking for trouble, or want to watch others cause trouble, and now they barely get any of that.
  11. So I'm fine with cops moving at 1/3rd speed while escorting someone, but would it be possible to add it so that when another cop is nearby, there is the ability for the 2nd cop to assist the 1st in moving the suspect? Basically make it so that the 2nd cop comes up, action keys, and now as long as they are both within 5m of each other, the 1st cop runs at normal speed?
  12. In order to prevent cops from spawning you have to text APD on the emergency channel declaring a APD HQ takeover which will begin in 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes is up, if one of your gang is in the HQ, APD cannot respawn there until the situation is resolved.
  13. Hate them because not long after I started playing a few months back they robbed me 3 times in like 2 hours. Though for the most part they're pretty good with RP. Gotta give them that. I have yet to have a problem with them blatantly breaking rules or combat logging, personally.
  14. I always wondered, if picking up weapons before they despawn is considered exploiting? They don't despawn for 5 seconds after death and I've seen a few times where someones killed me and ran to pick up my MXC.
  15. Literally just made a post about this in the R&R Forums. I found it later, someone must have bumped it.
  16. But guys... whos going to back us up on our botched prison breakouts? But good luck with your future endeavors, I hope you guys come back more often then not.
