So I was flying around with SaltyDog and he decided to give me the controls to his helicopter because he had to go AFK and take care of something. Mistake #1. After notifying the downed civilian I was going to be there soon I started my slow decent to a "smooth" landing just outside of Athira. I got down safely without dying and only knocked down two walls with my tail rotor. At this point I'm beginning to feel awesome about myself. I then get out of the helicopter with the rotors still moving figuring it would be an easy takeoff. Mistake #2. I revive the fallen patron and make my way back to the helicopter only to see the helicopter is missing. At this point my mind is flooded with questions. Did I not park it here? Did someone steal it? I swear I locked it.. Maybe SaltyDog came back and had to fly off to revive someone? Maybe he was going to get gas then he was going to fly back and pick me up?? I then look up in the sky and I could see the group marker getting further and further away from me. I figured SaltyDog was in control of the helicopter but every time I tried talking to him I got no response. I was beginning to worry.. I done fucked up this time! It was all beginning to set in. A message kept appearing in group chat " SaltyDog, Out of Gas ". It was at this point when I realized I probably should have spooled down and turned off the helicopter before I got out. When SaltyDog came back 10 minutes later he asked why he was crashed into a hillside. To my delight I was happy to hear his helicopter didn't blow up. Luckily he was only 2.2km away from where I landed in Athira and not in the ocean. I learned a very important lesson that night. Always turn off the helicopter before you get out. Now I know haha. I can't wait to get my wings soon! Look out World!!

Everytime I log on and log off I always see at least one member of the Tree gang at the Athira hospital. Apparently they think they own the place or something lol. At least they are friendly, I can't complain to much haha I changed this topic after I realized I put my screenshot in the wrong area Whoops haha

I get on Twitch occasionally. Never really heard sandstorm played in the channels I watch. Hearing Sandstorm brings me back to the memories of my high school football and basketball days. Nothing like a little Darude Sandstorm to get the crowd jumping and the bleachers shaking! Awww the memories..

First off, yes my opinion is one sided. Second, I don't care about losing my money, house, and cars. When I do play I either play on APD or R&R. I'm not in this server for the things/money I'm in the server for the RP/friendly community. I would appreciate it if you didn't look at my opinion like I'm scared to lose things. I'm just stating that in the end Altis life is Altis life. If a new economy is put into place then I would agree that starting fresh would be a good thing. But it's like I said, eventually I believe everything would be back to the same.

I'm just curious what is everyone's opinion on the server wipe topic? In my opinion if there is a server wipe it's not going to make much of a difference from where the server is at now. I understand people are getting bored and instead of trying something new they stick to the same old thing. To me Altis life should be more about the RP than grinding money and trying to create the biggest net worth on the server. Big gangs are still going to bring in huge amounts of money if they choose to play that way. If they choose to play this way I have nothing against it, I'm just saying most people are going to return to whatever play style they are used to. Big gangs will rob the new players. RDM isn't going to cease. Cops/players will always be trolled. I don't see how a server wipe would change any of this. If people are losing interest in the server because they have so much money that should not fall on the smaller/newer players who are trying to create new gangs and enjoy the servers. I could go on and on about how things wouldn't change but only be a temporary solution. Two or three months past the server wipe are you trying to tell me that everything wouldn't be pretty much the same? -Everyone is entitled to an opinion so please keep it friendly in this topic

If it was considered it wouldn't be a way around rp. If anyone is a cop or has been on a true ride along then they would know that in certain situations rolling up dark( lights off ) makes it so the officer has a better tactical advantage, and it also creates for better cover. If a suspect doesn't see flashing lights or hear sirens coming their way then it's going to be much more difficult for them to run. Just something to think about..

I understand cops should have lights and sirens while responding to calls, but the lights and sirens also say "I would love a bullet punched through my skull". Is it against the rules to turn your lights and sirens off if your near the scene? You should be able to roll in dark and still properly announce yourself as an APD officer via text message or game chat in my opinion.
